The goal of the stay-at-home orders were to flatten the curve as to not overrun our medical systems. I think that was successful. The goal was never to protect people from getting infected.

If you look at the number of reported cases of Covid-19, then add the deaths to the number of recovered patients, there is a vast discrepancy when comparing the two. Reported cases far outnumber recovered plus dead.

Can't speak for everywhere but in Florida they've tested the same people as many as 3 times but instead of recording how many people they recorded how many tests.

The numbers here are just not reliable and when asked for clarification neither the governor's office nor the offices responsible for presenting the data respond.

 

I guess that is no big surprise behavior for a virus engineered for "gain of function". Bill Gates has a patent on CV, but does that mean they can fine tune the virus in the same way computer software can be fine tuned? I don't know.

Short version is there is a website with pretty graphs and interactive maps so the covid obsessed people can get updates on which areas to avoid, and which areas should be pissed that they were still shut down, info that apparently isn't available on the local newscast. I had never heard of it and I'm in Florida, after it was on the news that was the first question I heard from coworkers and family "have you even heard of this dashboard thing?" "nope"

I really don't need a website to tell me that the heavy populated areas are more affected than others, its common sense, stay away from the big cities if you can, more people = more risk. Its quite simple.

My local news obsesses plenty with the virus so if anything i'm getting more updates than I want, its boring and repetitive at this point.
