FNC’s Carlson: Joe Biden in ‘No Hurry’ to Fix Baby Formula Shortage Problem

Friday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson opened his program by criticizing President Joe Biden’s response to the baby formula shortage plaguing the country.

Carlson shared with viewers statistics showing stores around the country with no supply and the White House’s response of indifference and scorn.

This is a serious shortage -- warnings signs started back in Feb. I can only guess how scared mothers of infants must feel. The southern border guards say our gov shipped plenty of baby formula to the border. If we can send $40 billion to Ukraine we should be able to go all out producing and importing baby formula. Come on Joe.

 

which agency of government produces baby formula? babies turned out just fine for thousands of generations without depending on whichever conglomerate churns out this stuff.

Babies can’t get formula because of protective tariffs! Damn that Trump for making that the corner stone of his whole economic policy!

 

To my knowledge, he put tariffs on some food products in 2018 and perhaps 2019. I find nothing about a baby food tariff. It is a necessity, and people will buy it even with a price increase.

Also, I believe tariffs would or could increase the price of the commodity, not produce a shortage.

PS Bidden is supplying a lot of baby food to illegal immigrants. This would or could have created or contributed the shortage.
