It's amazing what pregnant women will do to get un-pregnant. Even though the option of adoption exists.

I think 90% of the time it's simply about not wanting to look pregnant.

They're ashamed of getting pregnant, don't want their family members to know, don't want their boyfriend to break up with them because their relationship is all about sex and her pregnancy will interfere with that.

It's not so much about pain, health, or discomfort as it is about shallow cosmetic appearances. We all know this.

NO, "we" all do NOT know this.

YOU think it....that truly and certainly does NOT make it a fact.....in fact saying things like ""I think 90% of the time it's simply about not wanting to look pregnant.""' is so much horsepucky and really shows total lack of knowledge about why women have abortions.

BUT, :), the corker is, women can have abortions FOR ANY REASON THEY CHOOSE.....:) :nana: Isn't that what really bothers some people :)

    YUPPERS! That's what I think...

Anyone who has a smidgeon of knowledge about the history of the world ( and doesn't deny it) knows "people can't help but make babies".....humans do that.....some people just can't get over that basic fact.

Also: Do you know how the following makes you look:

""I think 90% of the time it's simply about not wanting to look pregnant.""

That says more about you, your attitude towards women, and your Anti-Choice stance than it does about women....

    Indeed!

It's like arguing for it to be Xmas every day. An absurdly infantile position.

The history of the world is irrelevant in an era in which both choice, AND a thousand different forms of contraception exist.

And a woman isn't limited to only using one form of contraception...

Sadly, many instances are driven by man-pleasing.

    Human nature has not changed.

However, thankfully , now women can have safe affordable CHOICES...:)

Show me the LAW that says women must use contraceptives....see, there isn't one......no one is obligated to use birth control.

Women are not required by law to use any birth control. It's their choice, they have ALL the power :nana:

You are literally celebrating the idea of adults behaving like naughty children, in a situation where the trade is an innocent life.

She means stopping people from having sex outside committed relationships.

He meant women should quit having sex if they're not prepared for the responsibility that could come along with that sex.

I have never once said anything of the kind. You clearly have me confused with someone else.

I don't even mean that, but thanks. I only ever suggest that women refrain from doing the deed while fertile and when no reliable contraceptive is available. That equates - in reality - to very few instances in which abstincence would need to be chosen. After all, we're only fertile for a few days per month, and reliable contraceptives can usually be found.
