The Defund The Police idiocy is going to bite the Democrats for years to come. Hopefully it only bites the progressives who liked that absurd idea, but it will probably hurt the moderates too. Losing moderate Democrats is as dangerous to the country as losing moderate Republicans. The more moderates that are replaced by either fanatical progressives or Trumpists is nothing but bad for our future.
