What's up with grown adults who still believe that anything is free? I got that word out of my vernacular soon after I learned that there was no Santa Clause.

"Free" is an expression of ingratitude that falls below so much as a thought to the fact that someone else paid.
"Free" is an expression of deception that falls below so much as a thought as to why someone else paid.
Nothing is free, and there are no solutions; there are only trade-offs.

Public goods are free, by definition (given non-excludability). Try some economics?

What's up with grown RWers who still believe someone said something is "free"? Is it a comprehension problem or a "gotchya" problem?
