For everyone to be equal, freedoms must be lost.
If we are free, we're are equally free to improve.
Equality says everyone should be rewarded the same.
Machines are probably going to take our jobs, but why then should everyone be paid money not to work? That's equality.
Freedom is being allowed to own the machines and profit from it.
Freedom is working and saving, and keeping the fruits of your labour.
Equality is being tarred with the same brush.
    But, what do you think?

Freedoms and equalities sounds like The Greek Senate's ideas of how a society should not be restricted from wearing togas if they want. Strangely enough, though, we are NOT Greece. But it seems as if the whole Political agenda is to make the 'WORLD' as Greece was at one point in their history.

Don't forget that it was Greece that brought the 'gymnasium' into Jerusalem to have their 'high priests' leave their station work in The Temple of God to participate in their gymnasium games, which were done naked in those days.

And don't forget that for those that disobeyed the Heads, there were Colosseums for them to war against starving lions and such to prove their 'worth' to be alive.

Did you know that the first Olympics, which is a Greek word, was done in the nude? And probably many future Olympics until 'clothing' became 'mandatory'.

But of course, women, were not allowed to participate in 'gymnasium' activities.

In a way, Greek life and Greek culture is making a come back. Greece is the top rated European Country for LGBT acceptances with over 53 percent of the population in favor or non-biased towards LGBT marriages and unions.

"On 11 April 2015, the newspaper To Vima published a survey conducted by Kapa Research which showed that 39% of respondents supported same sex marriage while 51% were against it. On the same survey 66% of respondents agreed with the statement that homosexuality should be accepted by society while 28% believed that homosexuality should not be accepted by society.[120][121]

On 12 May 2015, Greece had its first survey ever showing majority support for same sex marriage at 56%, while 35% opposed it. The survey was based on 1,431 respondents and was conducted by Focus Bari. A very high percentage of respondents (76%) agreed that homosexuality should be accepted by society while 70% agreed that civil partnerships should be extended to same-sex couples. However, respondents remained skeptical about adoption by same-sex couples with only 30% supporting it while 56% opposed it. Only 14% believed that homosexuality is a mental disorder and 54% stated that stricter laws should exist to punish homophobic crimes (hate speech in particular).[122]

In December 2015, a poll conducted by the University of Macedonia during the week before the Civil Union Bill became law found that 56% of the public agreed with the law, while 29% strongly opposed it." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Greece

Maybe the world is heading towards the second 'Great' Greek Empire?

Impossible to have equality but you can have fairness.

Some jobs are more suited to females and others for males, so you wouldn't achieve a 50/50 split.

Fairness relates to wages, terms and conditions etc..

Having been an exceptional child, I say equality is a utopian dream that can never be achieved. Better to embrace freedom and allow everyone to accomplish everything s/he can in life.

WTF do your homosexual wet dreams about Greece have to do with freedom or equality? Completely irrelevant and off-topic post.

It all depends on what people are DOING with their freedom.

If they are creating monopolies with it or polluting the groundwater, then you have a big problem on your hands.

And then these neo-John-Birch Society arguments are foolishness.
