    I came across this study a while back and thought now might be the perfect time to share it.

    In short, it’s a study that looks at the consequences of taking politics too seriously. It was conducted in early 2017 so captures the distress resulting from the 2016 election. When data from the study is extrapolated to the US population we see:

    There are numerous factors the study identified that predict individuals reporting adverse effects from political stress, but this one really fits us here at PF.

    That’s just a quick glimpse. I really hope everyone looks over the study and takes it to heart. I don’t want to see anyone harmed physically or mentally by what’s playing out this week. Take care of yourselves, especially in light of how we know stress harms our immune systems during this pandemic. No matter who you vote for, no matter if your guy wins or loses, please don’t let any of it destroy your health, sanity, or relationships.
