    Naughty Ivanka! Lock her up!

Ivanka Trump, the US President's daughter and a top White House adviser, sent hundreds of emails about government business from a personal email account last year, The Washington Post has reported.

    Key points:
    • Ms Trump's emails violated public record rules, the Washington Post reports
    • A spokesman for Ms Trump's lawyer does not dispute the report
    • Donald Trump labelled Hillary Clinton "Crooked Hillary" for using a private email server

Trump isn’t isolationist he is protectionist. I don’t know if you have noticed though he is being played by some of the smarter leaders of the world. One being Putin who clearly has Trump wrapped around his finger. BUT splitting hairs.

I am not sure how to address this issue. Clearly, it is becoming apparent China’s ambition in this region is too large to contain. Their expansionism is growing outside of the bounds of region. Their debt dependence and market invasions (for lack of better terminology ) has become far too large to be smothered by sympathetic interests through nationalistic inducement or misguided Global market interests.

Now I know when couple of ALP members were pointed out to be Corrupt, many partisan political wanted to forgive them for their greed and some even went to the point of suggestion of no issue with accepting payments from sources questionable for favours From Chinese sources… And that sharing information across nations is no issue…

NOW the complaints, Australia is selling of it’s infrastructure to Chinese interest’s through direct and indirect methods and still nobody can connect the dots. The US already made serious point at selling NT port interests to the Chinese and were ignored by a government sympathetic to Chinese money rather than Australia’s interests.

What do you expect the US to do? Just sit and allow an expansionist regime who has designs on securing its interests for the prosperity of CHINA not the world.

I don’t know, the thing that seems to be missed by many, other nations don’t care about YOUR nation. All they do care about is having their interests in your nation secured for their interests. They don’t care about method or the wellbeing of the people in your nation. So ignoring the corruption of the representatives of your nation should never be ignored, no matter what your political persuasion is.

Honestly, while people want to play partisan politics, you will never curb this problem or issue. All you can do is brace for the next major war. And while the do gooders want to wave their peace signs at the tanks and missiles, it aint going to stop them.

The MAGA thing was hammered home to me this morning when I heard trump say"maybe he did, maybe he didn't" and implicit was that cheap oil was more important.
The US will never be able to take the moral high ground about human rights after this.

OMG, not to insult, but is this new to you??? The US was never an exponent of human rights.

Sure, they often want to point out the ways of difference but the truth is they are just better at manipulating public opinion.

This is one area we can expect to take some criticism. People prefer to hear what they like. People gravitate toward media that tells them what they want to hear, not the reality or the truth. Fake news is nothing more than news that does not support our own interests.

That being said, we ignore the efforts and intimidation of US interests around the world, the market manipulations to deal with the biggest nation in the world and criticise the human rights of anybody opposed by US.

More people have died around the world to uphold the rights of America than have been killed for their own nation. Human Rights??? US has no claim.

'********' geese become internet sensations as farmer writes honest for-sale post
All Leslie Du Preez wanted was to add a little tranquillity to her small southern Queensland farm.
"We got these beautiful geese and thought they'd be a wonderful addition to our beautiful zen-like property," she said.
It did not go to plan.
"The geese had other ideas. They were ********s!"
"They terrorised our poor sheep, they made little kids cry. The roosters got pecked and the peacock's tail feathers got pulled out by them. There was no peaceful free-ranging and having a good time. It was mayhem."
But the way she handled the situation certainly struck a chord with farmers all over the country.

    A Bradbury, a veritable Bradbury!
Declan Martin — aged 19 — is barely old enough to vote, but this fresh-faced Labor candidate could be about to create electoral history.

    Key points:
    • Declan Martin could win Brighton for Labor
    • The 19-year-old would be the youngest MP in Victorian history
    • He spent just $1,750 on his campaign, and ran for the seat because "no-one was willing to fill the gap.

Modern reproductions of an 1858 new model army and a Colt clone from the same era. Muzzle loading revolvers in .44 cal. I killed a wild hog with one, a few years back from a hundred foot.

Or foolish, but I wanted it, here is a C&P from a detailed thread I posted elsewhere.

    Pig hunt.
I prepared for this hunt first, with a prayer of success and thanksgiving (critically important, to me).

The peace river is not very far from my house and I often used to walk the bank for miles. Saw big sounders of hogs a few times. Tracks everywhere. Freezer got kinda empty a couple years ago, so I thought popping a piggy was a fine idea. I gathered up supplies, a bowie knife, a small knife, a nylon (body) bag *sleeping bag, bag* and last but not least, my 1858 new model army clone.[IMG]

Kissed the wife goodbye as she wished me luck. Figured I would have to walk downriver a couple miles, but I only walked about 600 yards and across the river a hundred yards up, low and behold there were 2 big hogs. I walked abreast of them to get a shot from just standing on the far bank, but they went behind a slough channel the airboats made. I walk back down about a hundred yards and crossed the river (only about 2 ft deep in the dry season).

I start creeping down the bank. My wet croc sandals were squeeking, so I kicked them off and went barefoot. I get to where I seen them go over the slough bank, and raise up for a peek, there they were about 80 to 100 ft away! I raise the pistol and commence with the hostilities. I fired at center mass, they did not move, I fired at hog #1 the second shot. Now they move and I have a shot at#2.

I knew the gun was shooting high, so I aim at the ground under the belly of # 2 and fired again. They both ran up a ridge, hog #2 makes it 15 ft and hits the ground, squeals real loud twice and goes still. I wait about 2 minutes before approaching (thick brush up that ridge, wanted to see if it was down and hog #1 was not hanging around for vengeance). I walk up and poke at it with the bowie knife, no reaction. I still put another round, angling down thru the neck, for good measure.

I call my wife, "I got one" *you what?* "You heard me, I GOT ONE!"

I cut the head and feet off with the bowie knife and gutted it laying on the ground, Every time I grabbed the hind legs and raised it up, about a quart of blood gushed out. A .451 133gr round lead ball, went high behind the shoulder, punched thru a rib put a hole thru both lungs and lodged just under the hide on the far side (still have it, for the memories) I put the field dressed carcass in the bag and carried it across the river. I guesstimate it was a 140 pound hog before field dressing.

I carried it back to my bike about 600 yards and had someone help put it in my lap and I pedaled it about 2 miles home, hung in a tree and skinned it, cut it down the middle with a hacksaw then cut it in quarters and took it in the house and finished my hackjob and what would not fit in the freezer, I gave to the neighbors.

I was running on adrenalin and was sore for days, shooting it was the easy part. But I WANTED that pig and damned if I was gonna fail. here is a pic of my recumbent cycle I fabricated. I pedaled home with it in my lap.[IMG] My wife and friends would ask "what cut of pork are we eating" *me* "damned if I know, all I know is bacon comes from the belly and ham from the ass, you're eating dead pig".

First big game animal I ever killed, and with a pistol, no less. I was awful proud but I know the pre hunt prayer was the ticket[IMG]

In some circles I am known as Chief two rabbits, awfull handy with a slingshot, I am!

And in case you were wondering, yes it was legal. You can legally shoot on the river as long as your bullet does not go on private property or shoot across the river (you can shoot from a boat or standing in the river) Hogs are feral and no season or bag limit. Here is a pic of the peace (not where I hunted) I had no camera that day.[IMG]

I had only loaded 4 rounds, out of 6 (did not figure I would need more) I missed twice, round 3 found it's mark. I sparked up a smoke and purposely waited to approach/observe. I approached and poked with my knife. (remember, at this point I had no idea where I hit it)

So I put round 4 angling down thru the neck and now I have an empty gun and am super paranoid that comrade is in yonder thicket waiting to extract vengeance. So I carry the entire carcass about 20 ft to the river, so I can at least jump in, if need be.

I may never get another one, but I can scratch that off my bucket list. I used a revolver because that's all I have.

Do you have alligators around your area? You weren't worried about them being attracted by the smell of the blood?

Plenty, but no. The river is broad and flat and open in the dry season. Plus I carried it above water but when I got up near the park where my recumbent was (and the public) I realized I had blood all over my torso and I ought rinse off in the water lest I freak someone out.

Funny part, when I left the house I saw my Jehova Witness neighbor and she was like "where ya headed" and I told her I was going to shoot a hog and she was like "uh hmm"...

About two hours later I knocked on her door and said look in my tree, where the now skinned carcass was hanging.

I worry more about gators when fossil hunting, standing in the water for extended periods. This area is called "Bone valley" Florida, world famous fossil hunting destination. The Peace river, specifically Arcadia Fl.

You couldn't get me in that river for love or money. The thought of alligators makes my blood run cold.
    Fossils- interesting.
Ps the images in your previous post didn't show up.

Yeah, I know. For whatever reason, this forum only supports URL images and wont open a folder and I am not savy enough to figure it out how to do a URL.

I have a world class fossil collection and wish I could post photos. I go to another forum and open the reply box and post a pic and try to C&P it here but I guess it gets flagged as spam??? I can see them when I post them???
You ought to see my biggest fossilized gator tooth, it came from a 20+ footer.
