Interesting that you have seen so much of this violence. I lived in Greenwich Village for years where there were so many gay people and I never saw multiple horrific things. And I agree that case can you do terrible things to their mates but women generally do not shoot their mates as much is a male would shoot to kill

 

Thank you for admitting that women can do horrific things physically to their mates.

 

When you think about it, apart from the basic physiology, males and females are entirely different animals? For example, they're prepared to spend literally hours and hours primping their mops in front of a mirror, or at the hairdresser's paying someone else big bucks to do it for them, plus a shower every day just to wash it; whereas we fellas just wanna get a haircut over and done with as fast as possible and for as little money as possible, and wash ours in the bathroom basin. I know which method I prefer. In fact I wish I were bald, then I could dispense with the washing ritual every week . . . just a quick wipe over with a soapy flannel now and again - job done? No-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

 

So the actual truth is that women don't talk more.

Look at boards like this: it is mostly men. And women are attacked pretty regularly with misogynistic comments regarding their intellect or emotional control.

Appears that "context" determines the answer to the question.

Women down talk men all the time, probably as much or more than men to about women.

 

That makes sense. Men and woman both talk about the same, but different amounts in different situations.

One of the things America doesn't do much is separate schools for boys and girls. Studies have shown that girls in all girl schools develop more confidence in themselves and their opinions because they are not shamed by boys for 'thinking like girls' and also they don't have any inhibitions about being interested is math or science classes and appearing unfeminine when they are in all girls schools.

 

Thanks for the comment about separate schooling for boys and girls. I have been thinking about that for a week or so because of an incident with a friend's daughter. Good points, imo, ThelmaMay.

 

And little children can do horrific things to their parents so let’s focus on that.

 

We had that.....the problem was girls were excluded from the best school. I agree that Girls did better when there are no boys around. I don’t know how true that is today. Girls seem to be academically equal
I recall going to a workshop where it was pointed out how studies show teachers will call on boys more than : girls and the boys will raise their hands even when they don’t know the answers because they are more confident, That workshop really raised my consciousness. But now we have medical schools and law schools that are half women. Times have changed and women are gaining the confidence. Thanks to the women’s movement

Lol @ boys raising their hands more, it may be factual, however I never observed it, most females seemed to study more than boys, and know more than boys, since some boys studied less and horsed around more.

I had female study partners, since I wanted to do more than yap about senseless boy crap.

 

Lord of the flies was about British boys stranded on a deserted island and what they did to each other, no parents were present.

Actually this is new. Girls were never encouraged to be scholarly and now they are and look at where they’re going

I volunteer in a woman’s prison and most of the women are in for drugs. Another interesting thing is that many women take the rap for the men because they will get lighter sentences because the men often have a record

Also, Women carrying guns for men were called;
"Gun Molls" in the 1920's - 1930's....
