And all the other promises, lower cost, keep your policy, keep your doctor. Cost have skyrocketed along with deductibles getting so high the people who had good insurance now have insurance that cost more and pays for less.

 

Yes, there are many who aren’t insured...but millions are that weren’t. Also your article says that millions aren’t aware of their options

 

I live among the wealthy and many of them are lazy and ignorant which you totally failed to realize exists. I do have to laugh when you accuse me of being naïve about the poor. I taught in inner-city Brooklyn New York my entire career. I would not have been a good teacher if I saw these poor kids as lazy and ignorant and it’s too bad that you failed to realize that bigotry and prejudice plays a big part and not being successful ...as you show with your stereotyping

They could have done the Medicaid thing without Obamacare so stop with the 20 million you first claimed got a health insurance policy. My doctor retired because he was fed up with it, my deductible increased from $2500 to $6000. My co-pay increased from $25 to $35 and "specialist" such as my ophthalmologist I have to see twice year to $70 (and did not go back to one specialist for a follow up when told it would cost me $70). My hospital reimbursement went from 80% down to 50%.
IOW I could not keep my doctor, I could not keep my insurance plan, I did not see a $2500 cost savings. The Republicans didn't want it because they knew the Obama administration and the Democrats were lying about it. And when those failings started the Democrats refused then and refuse now to try and offer a fix.
