    Garbage second paragraph.

First paragraph is irrelevant to oil prices. The price of oil cares not about you nor how you prepare nor whether you heat your home burning 100 dollar bills.

Supply and demand. Real basic stuff here.

It's the low cost of oil that shot your own production which would be even worse for your own production if the pipeline was not cancelled. How come Trump supporters no longer care about American jobs?

Cancelling the pipeline did nothing to supply. The oil is still being pumped and shipped, as it has been for years.

You became a member in 2018 so of course you said nothing about Trump his first 2 months on here.

I apologize if I said you hated him but most on here were nothing but negative about him for 4+ years and now they ask for unity (there was a such thread) and want us to stop being so hard on Biden. These people are hypocrites.

Since you say "think" I won't cheat and look it up. I think/believe it is refined from Natural Gas, which (NG) has had under Trump low prices and availability due to fracking.

It is only just beginning. And not the only thing. I am going to go out on a limb and predict food shortages in one year.

So Biden just cancelled over 11,000 jobs and you didn't notice?

Real stuff: The left hung trash on Trump for 4 years and ignored all his accomplishments.
Real stuff: The left and the same MSM treated Biden's election like the second coming, and pretended that all the reasons he was unfit for office didn't exist.

Get some real in you life, cowboy.

No limb necessary. Democrats will punish states that produce food and build lavish bridges and tunnels for their constituents.

Ah, someone from NJ. I'm from Fort Lee as is my brother, I no longer live there, he still does and was traveling though Lodi. I miss the pizza and Hiram's.

And this has what to do with the price of oil?

I don't care about the left. Do you?

He puts a dent in its pricing when he attacks fracking, pipelines and the petroleum industry in general.

If Biden had the power to stop fracking, you may have a point. Nothing Biden has done has affected supply or demand. It's really that simple. Well, except fast tracking the vaccines. Is that a bad thing in your opinion?

Stopping supply or demand isn't everything. Just talking about is enough to affect markets. It was Trump that fast tracked the vaccines and yes it was a good thing.

Thats low by California standards. Interesting that the prices don't have the 9/10 cent at the end.

Trump got the vaccines off the ground. He didn't fast track them. That would be Biden.

Yes, talk can have an effect. Let me know when it affects supply. Prices are being driven by demand, not supply. This is first year economics.

Demand, but not supply? SO- if there is an unchanging market for 1,000 barrels a day (static demand) the price would be the same regardless of the availability being 100 barrels or 10,000 barrels.
BOTH of them control pricing- along with cost of production. If price doesn't support production, production stops. Thus supply (but not demand) changes- and the price will rise.
Biden has taken steps that curtail supply. The price is rising. Causative relationship without significant change in demand.

Take that back to your economics teacher. Tell him he missed a few things, and if he had actually been involved instead of just parroting what some fool wrote in a book, he would know. Then he wouldn't have led you astray.

What on earth are you talking about? The current rise in price is being driven by demand, as several have documented in this very thread. You sound like you're babbling.

$3.59 per gallon for 95? I pay $2.45 per litre or $9.27 per gallon. Now, the price of fuel oil is not normally under the control of presidents and prime ministers unless they invoke various powers which they might have under national emergency or war conditions. I'm sure you'd be happy to be under martial law.

Working from home has its benefits; one of them is that I don't have to drive as much. But not everyone has the privilege to work from home. A lot of jobs require the person to be there. I definitely feel bad for the workers who have to drive to work, especially the poor or working-class ones, with these climbing gas prices. However, if they voted Democrat, well, I hope they suffer enough to know better next time.

Again, dude. Prices for gas are about the same as in 2019. Guess all those who voted for Dick-head Donny were in the same boat.
