Sometimes sanctions backfire. Is not it?
Idiot American politicians wanted to make life difficult for the Russians, but in the end it was American citizens who got in trouble.
I wonder if the vast majority of Americans cannot find Ukraine on the map, but the American politicians decided to help the Ukrainians at the expense of ordinary Americans.
And look at how the US sanctions against Russia have affected - in Russia, gasoline prices are falling, but in the USA, gasoline prices are rising at an unprecedented rate.
It gets to the point that in the US Residents Reporting Gas Thefts Amid Record-Highs prices.

By the way, do you understand that low energy prices mean an increase in the competitiveness of industry and agriculture and an increase in production? And accordingly - high energy prices mean a reduction in production, and consequently an increase in unemployment and impoverishment of the population. Do you understand it?

By the way, the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses fears mass bankruptcy of enterprises due to fuel prices, the NEOPresse writes about this.
The association's managing director, Markus Jerger, has criticized the German government for high energy prices. He added that gasoline at two euros per liter and a doubling of gas prices is unacceptable.
Recall that on March 7, gas prices in Europe broke another record and reached almost 3,900 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
And only the Russians, thanks to Western sanctions, have gasoline prices falling.

Hopefully, they don't start drinking it when water becomes too expensive.

Do not worry. Russia has the largest reserves of fresh water in the world.

Russia's main problem is lack of a coherent and inspiring strategic vision, couple with grave tactical errors in its conduct of the war. Otherwise, the sanctions against Russia will prove a blessing in disguise. I have little doubt about that. Iran's case should indeed be instructive.

Iran’s flourishing stockmarket reflects its resilient economy
The economy was hurt badly by sanctions but did not collapse

The Putin government is subsidizing the prices at the pump. That is only a short term fix and will not be sustainable for longer periods of time.

Nice. You can hop in your Lada and cruise around. Oh, wait, - they had to halt production pf Lada due to lack of parts and because they didn't have the money to pay the workers. Same will happen to all Russian industries soon enough. Nice work Putin.

Coming soon to town near you:
    - Nationalization of all industries
    - Confiscation of private property

In any country in the world, and especially in the United States, under capitalism, the oligarchs own all the country's wealth. This is what Marxism teaches.

May be so. But for the US it doesn't matter - in the US prices are already rising at an insane pace. And this is just a miserable start.
In Russia, at least now, the price of gasoline is falling. And this is where Russia compares favorably with the United States. Is not it?

What should your photo mean? That the Russians overwhelmingly have great new cars? And your photo with a rare exhibit against the backdrop of good cars only enhances the contrast?
I do not think, to my regret, that there will be a general nationalization of industry in Russia.
Nationalization of foreign companies may occur. But unfortunately in Russia there is capitalism and I think that such companies will be put up for sale to private individuals and non-state corporations.
But most likely, Western companies will return to Russia very quickly. (Like Toyota, for example.)
As the classic said - "there is no such crime that the capitalist will not commit for the sake of profit."

Marxism teaches nothing of the kind. Under true Marxism there isn't even money, let alone extremely rich oligarchs
The oligarchs in Russia are the owners of what use to be the "companies" under "State Capitalism" are they not?

Marxism is the doctrine of the future.
Society must grow to understand Marxism-Leninism.
Agree, it is difficult for a Papuan, who believes in strange gods, to explain the cycles of development of social and economic relations. A Papuan must develop intellectually to understand this. Otherwise, he will understand nothing and will consider Marxism an alien doctrine.

So you claim to be a Papuan then? As I said, only a failed teaching like Marxism creates Papuans hence, again, it's a failed teaching.

I thought you'd like to estimate gas prices in Russia and the US, but you're talking about Marxism and state capitalism.
Okay. Marxism, as a doctrine, does not stop at the theories of Marx and Engels. Like any science, Marxism develops. And if you read Comrade Lenin, who continued the development of Marxism, you will know what oligarchy and state capitalism are under imperialism.
I advise you to read Lenin's "Imperialism as the Highest Stage of Capitalism" and "The State and Revolution" for a start.
Read carefully and everything will become clear to you.

If you have not read Comrade Lenin and Comrade Stalin, there is no point in discussing Marxism with you....
So let's talk about gasoline prices in Russia and the US.
In other words - let's get back to the topic of the post.

I believe in every message of Russian media.
Why? Because if in Russis someone will try to spread Fake News (as defined by KGB officer Vladimir Putin), he can be sentenced to 15 years of jail.
I am not in Russia, but I believed Russia is winning, they just bombed children Nazi hospital, killing few Nazi children.

In Russia, 500 men own 98% of the country's wealth, with over 50% located OUTSIDE of Russia. Marxism is not in control in Russia, at least, not economically. In contrast, in the United States, the top 10% control the nation's 70% of wealth with most of that located in the United States. Who is the capitalist again? If you look at the numbers, Russia is more capitalist than the United States on who controls the wealth.

What do you think would be the best way for America to regulate its gasoline prices? I think we are going to have to do that eventually and it might as well be sooner as later.

20% of the world's fresh water is in Russia. https://www.climatechangepost.com/russia/fresh-water-resources/
The Russians are enough. You don't have to worry.
But back to the topic of the post - gasoline prices.
Maybe you'd better start worrying about gasoline prices in Germany than talking about the amount of fresh water in Russia?
