The wall closes a gap across rugged terrain, and connects two 21-mile sections of fencing between an El Paso wall and another wall in Sunland Park. The open gap has reportedly been a hotbed for human and drug trafficking.

No doubt some of the border agents at ports of entry are being paid by the cartels too. Need to have active military personnel at the checkpoints and rotate them out regularly.

Why would the Cartel people need to have an open gate - for $2,000 bucks they can buy a drone that will fly a kilo over the wall in 7 seconds. The wall is completely useless against drug trafficking.

 

Of course they did. If they go that route, they get a free pass and a court date for several years down the road that 90% of them wont show up for.

I also think we need to work to help prevent people from needing to ask for asylum when possible
