Strawmen erect by you and your kind. You still haven't condemn Israel for their violation international laws. The State Department isn't the arbiter of international laws.

There is no evidence that the State Department changed their views on the legal status of the West Bank.

If it is not "occupied" than it is an unannexed Israeli territory.

    so which is it?

No, they are not. However, it should free up more economic and military US assistance, which is a good thing.

So you are one of those for big government spending neocon. The 38 billions we are sending to Israel ain't good enough for you? We are spending way too much of money on Israel.

Nope just US policy what he can change as he wants, just like the next president can undo that as he wants.

Nothing changed in reality on the ground. West bank is still occupied, still ethnic cleansing and oppression by israel.

No. Thanks to Israeli ingenuity and US aid/funding. "Oppression" does not create a shiny town on a hill, it ruins it.

Well, I'll concede the point - West Bank and Gaza ARE occupied, by the Muslims who immigrated into Judea, Samaria and Gaza, after the Jews made Palestinian province of Ottoman Empire livable again, after centuries of Muslim neglect and pilferage. And now that the Jews have created a great, vibrant and prosperous country, Muslims want to invade it, take it over and steal from the Jews... I have a suggestion - why don't all those Palestinians squatters of Samaria, Judea and Gaza who vouch for the "right of return" be given properties that Jews had to abandon in Muslim countries, from which they were ethnically cleansed circa 1948? :juggle:

...--oppressing Palestinians in order to drive them out of their own lands. Tell me how much electricity they get daily. Tell me the current condition of the water in their piped supply. Show that you know some facts about the subject.

Should have taken a deal when it was offered to them back in 1947; be much better off today.

according to the Israeli Supreme Court, the West Bank is under Israeli military occupation.

    please stop spewing Neo-Zionist propaganda.

    thats false.

there is no evidence that the US State Department no longer considers the West Bank to be under the legal status of "Occupied" and under the legal authority of the 4th Geneva Conventions and the 1907 Hague Regulations.

Im 100% confident that if the State Department was asked if the West Bank is still protected by the 4th Geneva Conventions and the 1907 Hague Regulations, they would say "yes".

Matters not, Ronstar. The State could not have come up with better way to piss Palestinians, and they’suceeded weither it was their intention or not. Me, I hope this would push Palestinians a step closer to negotiating table with Israel, but I’m most likely wrong.
