Apart from the siege of Gaza since 2007 of course. Something which would never be considered newsworthy in the US :(

You mean the day(s) when Israel was arresting hundreds of Palestinians and killing Hamas politicians?

Free will and independence cannot grow in the Stone Age of Islam. Has there been any improvement over there in the last 5000 years? Not really, still cutting off heads for soccer balls.

    Most Palestinians are not Hamas.

5000 years? Islam is only 1400 years old.

One cannot tease a tiger in the jungle. and then complain when it bites off your arm. It seems to me that Hamas could have easily avoided this destruction by not firing on Israel...and avoided much of the death of children by removing them from target areas rather than moving said targets into places they are already in.

The Palestinians in Gaza voted these guys in...they are now paying a high price for doing so.

What do YOU want to do with these people who have lived in Palestine for more than 2000 years?

Palestinians are descended from Jewish farmers and all the people who lived in Palestine since 700 BC..

Ahh, so the Jews were there first. In that case if the Palestinians cannot live in peace with their ancestors they had best pick up their tents and move.

The same thing I recommend for any creature that is dangerous and wild.....LEAVE IT THE HELL ALONE.

The problem here seems to be the tiger is attacking the village and trying to eat the villagers. Thus, they are trying to kill it before it steals a child in the night.

It does not matter if the tiger is already caged to the villagers if it gets out every night.

    Think it through.

The Jews were highly adapted.. They lived outside of Palestine for over 2500 years.. all over Europe, Russia, North Africa and the Americas. The Palestinians stayed put and have NOT had that experience.. Should they be required to give up their land and human rights to refugees?

Do you think Mexican illegals have the right to drive out Americans, take their land, subsume their rights and declare a new Mexican state in the US?

Would YOU resist such an undertaking?

If we continually attacked Mexico and Mexico consistently pushed us back and conquered our lands then yes. They have the right to occupy them as they see fit. There is a price to declaring hostilities. The only region that so far is exempted from paying that price where the Palestinians reside. Time for reality to settle in there instead.

It was your scenario of Mexico/USA provided by yourself. Don't change the goalposts because you don't like the answer.
You've admitted Jews were there first. Live with that admission.

I didn't move the goal posts at all.. You aren't thinking..

Of course Jews lived in Palestine and so did Greeks, Assyrians, Egyptians, Canaanites, Scythians, Romans , Arabs and Turks. Arabs have lived in Palestine since the time of Abraham. . Take some time and really study the history of the region.. It was never a Jewish only land... Jewish history of the region is skewed and self serving.

You thought you could tie illegal aliens from South America in with Jews and you claim I'm not thinking?

Now for my own personal admission. I couldn't care less about the history of the region. If Israel is so oppressive the Palestinians should get up and move. It's not like were talking about abandoning an entire country. There's more sand to conquer.

Oh yeah, that's right, no other civilization wants them either. I'll have to think about what that must mean?

You think Palestinians should abandon their ancestral homes and lands, farms and orchards because of European refugees?

You would be better off tying the Native American history to the Palestinians than Mexico.

Europeans drove them from their ancestral lands en mass....then gave them back a bit to live on.

They at least, know better than to try to take even more through violence and destruction.

I don't want to address our treatment of the native Indians.. IMO those were dark days in our history.. but according to international law today.. conquerors and occupiers cannot colonize and kill or expel the native population.

Do you think we have the right to launch rockets and use machine guns on the refugees at our southern border?
There are a smattering of racists who would like to ship all the blacks back to Africa. Would you find that proposal acceptable? Can we commit genocide on all the African Americans in the US? That's exactly what you and Hamas are proposing for the Jews.
How can it be an atrocity here but not there?
How can any sentient society not have learned a lesson from the holocaust? That is exactly what Hamas is proposing recommencing.

Palestinians are not OUTSIDERS... They didn't immigrate from Europe or Russia or the US. They have been herded into increasingly smaller spaces over the past 60 years. Look at what is currently happening to the Negev Bedouin.

Actually, according to "International Law" every nation has the right to defend itself from attack, and Israel is doing so. They also did so in the past several times, and rather than "Colonize" , retreated back to its own nation and left the defeated to their own lands.

I personally do not like Israel or the idea of it....but I can understand the position they are in.

This is a humanitarian disaster zone created by USA and Israel and International community cannot do anything about this. Even Arabs abandon their brothers Palestinians.
