    Palestinians are not nor have they ever been a warlike people.. They were sleepy and apolitical merchants, factory owners and farmers. Take a look at the Bonfils photos of the 1880s in Palestine..

    They need to demonize their opponents so they can reassure themselves that they are in the right. They then have the audacity to cry 'antisemitism' if someone says anything "bad" about Israel.

    Such is the condition of those who have a fetish towards Israel.

    the people of gaza are no more war like than americans. I understand your simple, uncomplicated perspective and would pay it more respect if you consider what the effects of a belligerent military occupation might be and what the effects of almost 4 generations of hatred, oppression, death, hardship and misery might have on perspective.

    Hamas' strategy is stupid and results in nothing more than death and destruction. OTOH, Hamas is not the sole representative of the palestinian people. They were elected with less than 50% of the vote and I bet they wouldn't get 20% if new elections were to happen.
    In a democracy, Riding roughshod over the people you supposedly represent is not a formula for re-election.

    Do I really need to find the GOP leaders that support giving military aid to Ukraine? Or how about the GOP leaders that supported military strikes in Syria and Libya?

    In the after math of 9/11, Jon Snow said: "At one point we could see people falling to their deaths from the upper floors burning building - I began to wonder whether we were treating their desperate deaths with the dignity they deserved. We never rebroadcast them."

    Yet in the OP video Mr. Snow seems to revel in the photos of maimed children. What happened to all that 'dignity?'

    Where do you think those first Muslims came from?. Did they suddenly just appear from nowhere? Also, not everyone living there first were Jews. Most were probably non-religious and converted to Islam. Many Jews and Christians converted too.

    Not a professor of maths then? Unless you think that Gaza is less than 3 miles wide! I hope you realise that the whole of Gaza is being bombed whether on the Egyptian or Israeli border. The beaches are even being bombed - perhaps the Israelis think tunnels are going into the sea!

    About 7,000 protested in Tel Aviv against the barbarism of the IOF. Only a tiny minority of that 7,000 were comprised of Jewish Israeli's. That's rather telling.

    You could say, 'well they've got sky scrapers so it's different'.

    Dharavi slums, Mumbai, India. Almost all single story
    Area: 1.7-2,2 km2
