G'Day folks, bigfella checking in from Oz. Also a proud resident of the most liveable city in the world. Bit of a political tragic with a lifelong interest in US politics & history, world affairs & history more generally. Bit of a contrarian, so I'll probably get into arguments with all of you at some point . Left of centre, but definitely centre left (in Australian terms anyway). When it comes to world affairs I start from the premise that everything Noam Chomsky has ever said is wrong & work backwards (not really, but I'm not 'cookie cutter' activist left on world affairs). Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Hey bigfella: I am glad to have you on the forums and look forward to thousands of posts from you. I am not convinced that you are a contrarian and I seriously doubt that you are and I am unwilling to be convinced otherwise. With that being said, you are going to get along famously on these boards and I cannot wait to get into a thoughtful and civil disagreement with you. See you in the forums!
