Because it would only turn into a anti-black fest. Let's keep it real, do you really care about black on black crime. The political nature of the right is just as if not more so sickening. All they do is attack the victim and try to make the murderers out to be heroes. Please give me one Democrat politician that pushes for black forks to stay on welfare and not try to advance themselves. Republicans fight against policies that would end this type of chaos. This was going on long before this police chief was on the force. I listened to Trump speaking earlier, he didn't say one thing about bringing police brutality and misconduct to an end. Not one thing about bringing people together and healing this country.
I am trying to figure out how you come to the conclusions that you do, you try to claim that the media has feed black folks this and black folks that. For some reason you don't want to understand black folks views come from our own experiences not some crap you claim is being fed to black folks by the media. I came at the back end of Jim Crow segregation, I have experienced racism and discrimination I didn't need no damn media to tell me that. You really need to turn off FOX News, Rush Limpbaugh, Hannity and venture out into the real world and you might learn something.
This guy is going to get his no doubt he's a killer period. Unfortunately, what gives these type of excessive force type cases is what was going on before. Floyd was high on and although the struggle was justified the stupid leg on the neck after he was way excessive. Some cops are absolutely power hungry jerks but most if treated respectfully would never over stepped their bounds. There was a white friend of mine that got pulled over for speeding and went absolutely nuts on my friend, at one point even handcuffed him and was told he was going to jail in front of his crying wire and daughter. Luckily the wife had her phone on record and the body cam came out and that guy was fired. It's a tough job no doubt but the truth is there's bad apples in every work place.
No you are not trying, it’s very simple. I follow not your anecdotes, or anyone else’s. I care about statistics as they are far more of an indication of the issue at large. I’m not just following hannity or anything like that. I’m simply following the evidence. Your experiences are not any worse than mine or anyone else’s because of your skin color. Black people harm and kill white people more often than the reverse. You don’t hear about it, because no one cares. But this is a statistical fact. Whatever experience you have is not representative of the issue at large or the popular a whole. Start looking at objective truth and not basing your opinions on emotion and you may learn something about the world and how your view of it is wrong.
"cardiopulmonary arrest", that began before he was on the ground. He was complaining of the shortness of breath before he went down. That's what killed him.
Cardiopulmonary arrest means his heart stopped. Obviously that DID NOT begin before he was put on the ground.
LOL, now you have to explain the basic functions of the human body... Can't wait until Officer Chavin receives the Presidential Medal of Freedom...
Yes. Funny because bluesguy started this thread and seemed reasonable early on. Now his bias is interpreting everything to point to a heart attack or issue with drugs and he isn't the only one. He was disgusted by the cop's actions in the beginning, but now seems to be arguing to get him off the hook on reasonable doubt.
Bluesguy did not start this thread. Get the basics right before moving on into limitless speculation about what you think other people think....
Additional facts are in with the second autopsy. If the laws allow for it and if the prosecution thinks it prudent, the charge should be elevated to murder 1 imo.
Not this thread the original thread on the attack is what I started. My bias? I have gone by the facts and the evidence where it led. The bias is with the lynch mob here that has convicted them all of 1st degree murder and ignore those facts and that evidence. Why do you ignore the facts and the evidence? And I have stated from day one that even if Floyd had not died officer Chauvin at the least of them all should do time in jail. The reasonable doubt is about what actually caused his death and if you don't have that reasonable doubt you are showing your bias.
Did you see Baden on Hannity last night? His contradictory "findings" are based on the video. That's all he gave. He did not even refute the ME report that there was no evidence of strangulation or traumatic asphyxiation. His response to the "I can't breath" was "Look Sean I'm talking without breathing", well try it for 7 minutes not one sentence. He did not even address the fact that Floyd was experiencing shortness of breath, cardiac distress, before he even went down. The official, not paid for by the family, autopsy report is out and Floyd was drugged up on fentynal, had recent meth use and died from cardiac arrest. You want to deal with the facts and evidence now?
The cardiac event did he was already complaining of shortness of breath while standing up and we see him collapse to the ground.
so you would prefer it being anti-white fast instead of a productive conversation? Yeah I care about black on black crime, I care about white on white crime I care about black on white crime I care about white on black crime the reset of the people involved doesn't matter they're all people. you can't solve problems if you're too scared to talk about it. no I don't think so. In certain cases like trayvon Martin he wasn't murdered the shooting was justified. Eric Garner was a wrongful death. what are they doing to help? seems like all they do is make it easier to subsist on the government. That doesn't bring people up. It just kills their economic and libido I'm not a fan of Republicans, I don't see them as much different than the Democrats. I just never will understand why people see one of these parties as their savior. All I do is vote for the one who will take less of my money. talk is cheap if you want someone lacing your ears with pretty words go to church. People have been talking for decades and they haven't done ****.
So why don't we talked about before this brutality what we can do to deal with it I don't want to see people die I don't care if they're black.
irrelevant. once the threat has been neutralized, use of force must stop. Kneeling on a mans neck while he is handcuffed, laying face down in the pavement and not moving, is illegal. He died as a result of that illegal move, which makes it murder 3
My bad. He started the original George Floyd thread. You started this one and you were never correct from the get go.
Yeah, you started the first thread. There really is no reasonable doubt that the police hold caused the death. Both ME reports state it as cause of death. The underlying condition in the one report only made differences in seconds, if at all. Chauvin should get murder along with Keung (knee on back). Thou should get accessory. The only one I would let off is Lane as he is recorded showing a lot of concern but getting overruled by Chauvin.
We have been talking about it since this country was founded, do we need to talk about it another 300yrs.
Neither report indicated a cardiac event other than the heart stoppage caused by the pressure. A heart attack would have been noted
