Incredible story. Like a spy novel. They tried to entrap him with two beautiful women, $10,000 in cash and some very high level contacts.
IMO GP had no info rising above the level of gossip so I do not understand how this provided any basis for a FISA warrant.

He said he was given $10,000 in cash in Tel Aviv by someone listed in Wikileaks as a CIA asset. He smelled a rat and flew to Greece and gave the money to his lawyer. When he landed in the US he was shackled at the airport as they went through his luggage looking for the cash.

His wife is Italian and knows who Misfud is. He thinks she was subpoenaed by Mueller to scare her into not saying who Misfud was. She was told to spy on GP, leave GP, etc. She left the FBI office and miscarried.

Italian media are reporting that Prime Minister Giuseppe Conté has requested the resignations.

 

Prosecutors will often want to prosecute surrounding associates or business partners, just to squeeze them to give testimony against someone else.

The implication is "You're facing 20 years behind bars so tell what I want to hear if you want me to drop most of the charges."

Sometimes unethical prosecutors prosecute innocent people, just to try to get a conviction on someone else.

 

Prosecutors in this case threatened Trump's associates two ways. They told Trump's people if they didn't do exactly as the prosecutors told them, the prosecution would: 1) bankrupt them, and 2) go after their children.

 

These things are unbelievable. Can you imagine being a patriot and wanting to work for your country, and then having your country entrap you in their criminal scheme. Papadopoulos mentioned once that he was thinking of joining the Trump organization before Trump became a candidate, since he was the only one that offered something to the American people and it's probably why they picked on him. What a bunch of animals, when are they going to jail?

 

Like Weismann has on Muellers team. He has a history of this.

Strange there is no mention of him having sat down in a London wine bar with an Australian who he spilled his guts to regarding having the promise of Russians supplying dirt on Hillary Clinton to him as a representative of the Dirty Donald campaign.The Australian was a diplomat who notified the FBI of his conversation with Mr.P. upon his return to Australia.

He was also a US Citizen who is supposed to be offered PROTECTIONS under the law. As we can see, not only were these protections not given, but entrapment was employed. I hope Barr puts the full weight of the justice system on all of these criminals. It's time for these people to face what they tried to do to ordinary citizens: Raids and court trial dates.

GP talked to a guy (Misfud) who said he talked to a guy who said the Russians had dirt on Hillary. GP was a peon in the Trump campaign. It's not even certain that Misfud had such Russian contacts. Even if GP passed on the gossip to the AU ambassador (high commissioner) I don't see the big deal. Hopefully the truth will come out.

 

GP was not much above the level of coffee boy. So why was he introduced the AU high commissioner and given $10K in cash??

 

Read the Sidney Powell book about the DOJ about such 'lying.' The DOJ at that time was under GWB BTW. The DOJ is very dishonest and corrupt.

 

Misfud who disappeared for a while, has reappeared and is under protection - I believe by the Italian government but I'm not sure. I'm waiting for the trials to start. Trump promised to clean up the swamp, well here's his chance.

I'm also curious about the money Papadopoulos' lawyer is holding in Greece. No doubt the bills are marked. I would also like to see what happens to the Australian High Commissioner. He's going to be quite an embarrassment to the Queen, and deserves everything that can be thrown on him for misusing his position. Oh yes, they had their fun, now it's payback time.

 

I think Barr should name his investigation-Crossfire boomerang, that would be catchy.

Here is what I understand. Correct me if I am wrong. Misfud told GP he could set up a Putin meeting with candidate Trump and told GP, who was an unpaid Trump campaign team member. Trump had said he wanted better relations with Putin and it would be a feather in GP's cap if he could arrange a Trump Putin meeting. GP reported this back to the Trump team. Some liked it some did not. It did not happen.

Misfud did not know important peple in Russia and could no more arrange a meeting with Putin than an audience with the Pope. GP then was set up to meet the AU high commisioner, way above GP's pay grade (unpaid), who reported that GP reported this offer to him.
GP says he does not recall passing this on to the high commisioner. The AU guy then passed this on as evidence of collusion between trump and Putin.

GP was a fall guy, a patsy. He did not matter.

It wasn't a big deal but the higher ups at the FBI certainly made one of it. This chicanery now involves Australia, Britain and Italy and all because the FBI could ignore US laws when in foreign countries.

There are lots of questions in the GP case. My impression is that the FBI and CIA scrambled to put together an entrapment of GP and failed. They had Priestap and Halper (with flirtatious Azra Turk) in on the game. Downer conveyed his story (which does not say Russians offered GP Hillary’s emails) two months later. GP left the $10k on his hotel bed (it was demanded from him by the FBI when the TSA detained GP for five hours at JFK). This story reeks. There must be instructions, releases and authorizations for those deployed, a chain of custody for the money.

 

Of course it's mentioned in the video, I believe the second one - but not the way you're saying it or the way it was written up in the MSM. The Australian was the High Commissioner who gets a carriage pulled by 4 horses when visiting the queen, and not just 2 horses like the American ambassador. It was all part of their entrapment - and fun.

A bicycle I should think would be more in tune with his character.
