Oh well, call it a agreement, if it makes you folks feel good.
    It does not change anything.
Every 4 years there is election and than, everything agreed on, is out of the window, be it a agreement or a treaty.

Why would anybody even sit down with the US in the future?

The Constitution sought to limit the power of the president to make treaties without even consulting the American people

Its part of the checks and balances that you may have heard of

You are speaking some sense here and kudo's for that (sans the "Germans want Iran to have nukes" comment - which is just right out of turnip truck land - neither the Germans nor any of the other SC members want Iran to have nukes - and nor did the Obama admin).

It is not about being "humbled" by the new economic reality that I have been speaking. It is about rising to the new challenges we fact and making intelligent and well thought out moves.

To do this we have to 1) understand this new reality and 2) incorporate this new reality into our assessment of our position on the geopolitical chessboard. We are doing neither in many respects and it is to these examples that my posts have been directed. We are making moves on the basis of the old reality - the old position we had on the board.

I want us to win - and this is not what winning looks like. Messing with the sovereignty of our closest allies - because we decided to back out of a deal that we had made - is not what winning looks like. That's what losing looks like - that is what a commander who has lost his way and is losing respect of his troops looks like - to the point where when he utters a command the troops respond with the middle finger.

Just saying the germans dont want iran to have nukes when they are doing nothing to stop them is meaningless

The deal agreed to by obama virtually guarentees iran will have nukes in 10 years

    1) it guarantees no such thing
    2) That the German's involved in the deal want Iran to have nukes is a patent falsehood
    3) none of the above has anything to do with the point I was making.

Everyone can bury their head in the sand and pretend iran is not a threat

But if iran has nukes the ME will be on fire in no time

If the germans really cared they would join the sanctions and urge tje rest of the euro weenies to do the same

All the people that you are talking about agree that Iran getting nukes is a threat - which was the reason for the deal. Sure there are disagreements about how to best deal with the threat but the fact of the matter is that agreed to the deal. How does a new administration coming in - one that disagreed with the deal - justify freaking out and messing with the sovereignty of our allies - the one's who are necessary for any deal to work ?

You keep on reverting to "the deal - the deal" - followed by saying silly things that are simply false - like saying that the other parties to the deal - including our own administration and members of the Pentagon and so on - people who are still there - were really trying to give Iran nukes.

Believing in outrageous falsehoods - and making policy on the basis of those falsehoods is does nothing to help the situation. This is desperately grasping at straws because you don't want to admit that Trump's turds don't always smell like fresh flowers.

Do you seriously believe that this is the reason for the Trump admin Sanctions ? That the Trump administration really believes that the Pentagon and various other departments in our Gov't secretly want Iran to have nukes ?

If this is the case then we need to get rid of this admin ASAP because they are delusional.

That would be now The Idiot in Chief's fault. The deal made would have prevented it.
The US pulled out without consulting with its allies and than threatened to punish its allies, if they continue with the deal.
Iran is never going back to the negotiation table, understandable.
The US bowed to Israel, nothing more and showed everybody in the world, any deal with the US is not worth the paper is written on.

    North Korea knows that, too

Do you realize that there are over a dozen U.S. B61 currently mounted on German fighter jets in Büchel?

Absolutely true, he bowed to Israel, for no reason, kissing Net's ass.
Everybody is against Iran getting nukes, that is what this treaty was all about and it worked.

Now, Iran is free to do what it wants.

    Stupid as a rock

You may hate Israel but I dont

The fact is that the arab countries in the Gulf region fear iran going nuke as much as israel does

And if iran is allowed to become a nuclear power it will ignite a arms race that benefits no one thst I care about
