Glenn Beck calls Cliven Bundy "unhinged" on his show today-

"From the beginning of the Bundy Ranch standoff story, Glenn Beck has not been Cliven Bundy’s biggest supporter. His reluctance to embrace the “violence” of Bundy’s supporters was enough to get Jon Stewart to call him the “voice of reason” compared to Fox’s Sean Hannity.

Now that Bundy has been quoted wondering whether “negros” would be “better off as slaves,” Beck appeared to feel somewhat vindicated on his radio program Thursday morning. If he really believes all of the things he reportedly said about slaves, especially that they had a better “family life” than African-Americans have now, “just that shows you how unhinged from reality this guy is,” Beck said."

Glenn also predicted the EXCUSES that would be offered up by those who are still supporters of Bundy.

Seems ol' Beck was smarter than Sean Hannity...and smelled "trouble" with Bundy and his Bunch at the start.

 

So the current event is Glenn Beck calling someone "unhinged" ? This really needed its own thread ?

God I cant wait for the Democrats and republicans on this forum to let this topic go away.

I do not agree on much when it comes to Beck, in this case he got it right. Sad thing is his supporters will ignore it, make excuses or throw him under the bus as the right so often do when their own dare disagree with the lunacy of the far right.

Actually, I think Glenn caught a whiff of Bundy's racist stink and the likelihood the Militia nuts might go violent early on....hoped it didn't flare up (as it did) but knew better than to tie himself too strongly to Bundy or his fan-base.

Beck's smart. He knows how to con the Right and keep himself insulated too.

Hannity's a moron....which is why he lashed himself to Bundy, risked getting tied to domestic terrorism and now is probably spending this morning SCRAMBLING to find some way to tell his radio and TV audience that he "never supported Cliven Bundy the man, just his Cause".

Naturally the Hannitized will believe that (You have to be stupider than Sean...to buy what Sean is selling, after all).

 

So Sgt, Gorn, is it OK with you if the government attacks people that are "unhinged? Should his unhingedness give him special right like we give the immoral and the liberal horde??

But you don't see the hypocrisy of you attacking this poor guy but would support other unhinged people if the fit the liberal agenda.

But he did say that conditions are so bad in the nanny state ghettos that libs have created that blacks, aka negros might be better off.

 

Politically, this shows the GOP's problem in a clear light....

the Republican Base rushs to defend Bundy, still on his side, even after he's now been "outed" as a racist......while the GOP Leadership scrambles to try to distance themselves from him in order to not lose credibility as a national party or reinforce an image people have of the GOP...

and image PROVEN by the first group, the people still supporting Bundy, even agreeing with him.

THIS is the paradox of the Republican Party.....implode now or implode later; purge the racists now or purge the racists later.

I have to agree with a lot of what Beck says on this one. Look, Bundy is no "straight shooter". The guy is not someone to look up to and he cause is not helped by his actions.

I am against the Federal Government showing up with guns, attack dogs, etc.... to collect a fine/debt. That is authoritarian.
I am against the BLM having guys with guns and attack dogs in the first place.
I am against the Federal Government owning 84.5% of Nevada and most of the Western States lands.
I am against the Federal Government spending $6-7 Million dollars on a $200,000 grazing fine.
I am against the Federal Government killing Bundy's herd.

Am I a Bundy supporter? Not 100%... am I against what the Federal Government is doing as an authoritarian fascist state? Yes.

 

It's pretty telling when you won't comment on the subject of the thread, but instead attack the messenger.

Here's how I see it- Glenn Beck is insane. He's nuts. Now, if Glenn Beck thinks Bundy is insane, you guys are clearly defending the wrong guy. No one is siding with Beck, we're simply pointing out to you that if one of your own is distancing himself from Bundy, you probably should too.
