Why is it global warming deniers always mention a global warming hiatus or such...when they ignore that there's an ocean and it is warming ALSO.

I think both data is important and must be realized that ocean currents in a decadal cycle will offload much of the heat during a hiatus into the atmosphere, thus we get atmospheric hiatuses about 10 years long, with periods of rapid warming.

And the ocean has been warming steadily this last 10 years and is getting ready to upwell all that heat back into the atmosphere.

Yeah then they form into clouds and block the suns rays

Plants will populate and use it to pump oxygen.

No one knows how it ends or why

Easily measured, and the Earth's Albedo is decreasing, not increasing.

Remember when we found that hole in the ozone. It happened to be a cyclical thing and it fixed itself. There is a damn good chance that natural measures are effecting us as we speak.

I would like to see a model. Governments spend billions all of the world only research climate with initiative of finding human responsibly and its been part of socialist schtick for a while.. Where is it?

You should become famous writing a scientific peer reviewed paper on your theory.

What? So the banning of CFCs had nothing to do with it? Just cyclical? Gonna need to see some evidence for that statement.

Do you love 4 billion immigrants too? The US is actually going to become the Sahara Desert if the Earth warms as the storm belts move northward.

You should learn a thing or two.

Nothing will EVER switch a denier until their house gets flooded, actually even then it will be some freak storm or what has always happened. It no longer matters regardless as the damage is done and cannot be reversed. Fortunately the process will take some time and most of us will die before it gets bad anyway. Trying to prepare your kids so they can prepare theirs is pretty much all you can do at this point. Might want to move away from ocean water for a couple decades if you can.

You're overlooking the fact that the biggest disaster from Global Warming will be disease.

The will more likely get Malaria at Denver before their house floods.

That will be the least of their worries...Malaria can be fixed.

No, it can only be managed, and is annoying as hell if not deadly even when managed. If you call amazing pain in your joints and chronic diarrhea "fixed".

Compared to our atmosphere and global temperatures....yes it can be fixed.

Yay!!! Global Warming !!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!! Just think when the East and West coasts are under water all of brilliant climatologists will have to relocate to the rust and bible belts. Some how I don't see that working out. Here's to palm trees in Ogunquit!!!!

What gets me is how they talk about the hiatus while at the same time claiming that scientists have made up the data about global warming

They cannot see the inconsistencies in thier own reasoning

    That's a great point.

"See, there's a hiatus, but the data is all false" baawaahahahaha....

    I know :p

Some glaring things show up when discussing global warming
    - the ability of some to completely ignore inconsistencies in logic
    - The reliance on logical fallacies such as strawman arguments
    - the inability to grasp the concept "global"
    - the belief that Al Gore has all the scientists in the world chained to a hot laboratory bench in his basement cranking up the lightning
    - in line with the above - that the number of climate scientists in the world is somewhere less than 50
    - And the complete and utter lack of any sort of scientific knowledge

The world's climate will continue to change, like it has before we got here.

No one knows the net effect from humans.

A 'mini Ice Age' Is Coming in the Next 15 ... Earth could sink into what researchers are calling a mini ice age. ... scientists have struggled to predict what each ...

The sun is in a maunder stage, which means it's radiation on earth is not as strong leading to the cooling effect that will be similar to what earth went through from the 17th to 19th Centuries.

A curious thing that is never discussed: How did all those CFCs, which are predominately emitted in the northern hemisphere, get all the way to the Antarctic before they started causing trouble? There is very little exchange of atmosphere between north and south hemispheres.

Yeah that's just uninformed. Here is some science to explain why ozone holes tend to appear near the poles rather than uniformly across the globe...
