We hear a lot about God and Job's sufferings. The book of Job has 42 chapters and some 99% of the verses talk about Job's sufferings. However nobody knows how long Job suffered and some interpreters think it was a relatively short time. Some think Job suffered for a few months and others think Job suffered only for days. To the best of my knowledge all the events in the book of Job could have occurred within 30 days. If so, then Job suffered a very short time. But here is even better news: After Job suffered and endured his testing, God, in His Mercy and Grace gave Job MORE than he had before he was tested, and then God gave Job 140 years of the good life. Its reasonable to believe {based on the narrative in Job 42} they were a happy and blessed 140 years. "The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part." Job 42:12 "After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. And so Job died, an old man and full of years." Job 42:16-17 Bildad correctly predicted the happy restoration of Job when he said: "He {God} will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." Job 8:12 So? So God's Mercy and Grace restored Job and he had MORE blessings than he previously enjoyed and then God gave Job 140 happy good years. And even more important than that, God gave Job eternal life in Heaven. Job was an Old Testament believer that reaped the benefits of the blessing of John 3:16 which says that God loved the world and gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God restored Job and God has a Plan to restore the world. God has a Plan to fix the world that men have messed up. What kind of Plan is it? The Cross. What kind of Person is God? The kind of Person that will die on a Cross because He loves the world and desires to restore it. So what kind of Person is God? The kind of Person that leads from the front, where the pain is. . The Bible repeatedly compares suffering to a woman in birth pains which are short but very intense. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us... ... For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Romans 8: 18 & 22
So . . . murdering children is okay as long as you provide some replacement children? . . . Fun stuff
. When I read topics like this that mushroom here at the evil end of the age... I know there is much more suffering ahead for many.
Regarding mere men who for an absolute certain FACT are destined to end up as one of the following , , , {1} Worm food -- to be eaten by worms if you are buried in the ground -- later you will become worm-feces {2} Animal-feces if eaten by animals {3} Sea-creatures-feces if eaten by sea creatures (eg. if shipwrecked} {4} Ashes if cremated. YOU are absolutely going to end up as one of those described above. So? So little puny banty rooster humans destined to be either ashes or creature-feces ought to have some humility when they speak about the works of Almighty God. JAG

Regarding those who sit as The Judge on the Sovereign God and pass judgment on Him with regard to what He does or does not do: "All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” 1 Peter 1: 24-25 JAG ``

Christendom is going to fix the world. God has a Plan to fix the world. The Lord Jesus said, "I am making everything new" Revelation 21:5 And He will do exactly that. God's Plan to fix the world is via changing one human heart at a time until the world is Christianized -- "go and make disciples of all nations" the Lord Jesus commanded His disciples when He gave us The Great Commission at the end of Matthew's gospel and then the Lord Jesus explained the POWER behind the Christianization of all nations -- He said that all POWER has NOW been given to Him both in Heaven and on Earth , , , "therefore" He said "go and make disciples of all nations" teaching them to obey His commands. I guess because it isn't for him, but for us. The poor need help. And so do we if we are poor in compassion.
Think of all the 1000s of gods who have been worshiped by people just as devout as you, they have all faded away in to nothingness, if lucky they exist now only in history books or as a cartoon character in a Hollywood movie like mighty Zeus and Thor. Fading away until completely forgotten until no one even knew they existed in the minds of mere men, that has been the fate of all gods!

What's up with the hard questions? The fairy tale says that God's will will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Therefore, it should be obvious to the religious that God delights in people starving or else he would have given them food. When Christians give starving people food they are going against their deity's will, who specifically wanted those particular people to starve.
