Goldman to Refuse IPOs If All Directors Are White, Straight Men

Do you know what's sad? This racist/sexist "diversity" insanity now sheds suspicion on the qualifications of all of the women and minorities pictured. Maybe they earned their jobs, maybe not. Maybe more qualified white men were passed over in favor of these women and minorities. With GS's blatant racist and sexist ideologies, it's a strong possibility.

 

It's part of weakening America. Neo-commies attack every aspect of American life and try to promote the idea that America and Americans are racist and sexist.

 

I agree. I'm not going to change my opinion just because the "discrimination" is against someone else. Businesses should be allowed to deal with whoever they want, and the Supreme Court ultimately sided with the baker.

OK, let's start from the beginning. How does adding women and diversity improve anything? We're talking big business here, in other words numbers. How does adding women and diverse people change the bottom line, the value of a company, the quality of their products, etc? Would Youtube run better and be more profitable if they added more women and diversity? If so, how?

First you guys want government to make all the rules for businesses, now you want companies to tell other companies what the rules of business are. In the case of GS, that's a company you, Sanders and Warren despise, now you're siding with them.

And yes, white liberals are often racist towards whites. You should know that after being on this board for as long as you have and seeing the stuff that gets posted here.

If there are no women or diverse people on the board of a company, then in order to work with GS the company would have to specifically hire one of them and literally put up a sign saying white men need not apply. This is labor law.

 

Absolute insanity. So if a company with a cure for cancer comes to GS for an IPO and they have all male white straight directors, GS is going to turn them down? Unbelievable but not surprising in this woke environment we live in these days.

 

The federal govt has similiar policies that have been around for decades.

 

What does any of that have to do with the OP?

 

They’d turn them down because curing cancer is less profitable than treating it

As long as what GS is doing is (technically) "Legal", then why does the RW have their knickers in a twist?

When they have an issue with all white board members, it is racist to say they shouldn't be white.

Nobody here is making a case against against a diverse board. Nor is anybody making a case about an all minority board.

The only thing that is being brought up is people against an all white board.

I disagree with your “point” and don’t think adding diversity to their board harms innovation.

 

If it increases their costs unnecessarily to increase diversity then it would definitely harm innovation.
