For a long time now I have attributed all logic of good and evil to social and anti social means, that they either benefit or harm, yes?

Then, I watched Star Wars episode three. There they cited, through maybe some drug induced philosophy, that the path to the dark side was "passion..." This aroused me continuously, like a vex eating away at the very fabric of me!

Naturally I sought help, I went to the fridge for a beer, and, that was that...

Then, now, after watching Alien Covenant, and doing some quiet reflections, I gather that the passion is to act like a child, merely living from excessive high to excessive high, of course. This would be evil, but, if we even enjoy singing in church, being filled with the holy spirit, and, that makes us good doers, we must find balance between the images out there and our own reasonable social emotions that balance our very existence.

I think religion has confused you a bit. Good and Evil are just words in the end.

    GOOD~ doing no harm.
    Evil~ doing harm.

    It's as simple as that.
