Not so fast there. While I was working on an old house, someone stole a drill I was using so I used my 4" barrel Mod. 29 S&W .44 Magnum to "drill" holes through old, nail filled floor joists for bell wire. Naturally, I covered the revolver to keep it clean from the resulting dirt etc.

My point is that firearms can be weapons but they are more commonly used for recreation like golf clubs & baseball bats.

 

And many times more likely to be glassed there than here....pretty safe posting here though.

Here in the U.S. there are vast areas of wilderness, many places lack markets, other Countries, hunting was good, and as far as quality, Wild game is way better tasting than farm fed store bought meat.

Hunting is a wonderful spiritual experience, you rarely have at a supermarket.

 

Guns have done nothing bad.
Bad people do bad things, and many of them never use a gun.

Thankfully, Women here in the U.S. can legally defend themselves and turn the tables on their attackers.

Sane gun policies result in more assault and rape, hence why being armed is the supperior option.
