    I don't know where your chart came from... all the numbers I have seen was more were being stopped at the border as well as fewer attempting to come into the US... dating back to 2012...

    Through August 2017, reports show there have been 281,000+ border apprehensions in the Southwest Border Patrol area alone. Of this total, 71,000+ have been designated family units, meaning they represent more than one person.

    Considering apprehensions represent a portion of the number of people who have illegally crossed the border, it seems to be stretching the truth beyond credibility to claim the borders are secure.

    These 71,000 family units were caught without the need for any wall. Whether they would have tried if there was a "wall" is not really relevant since border guards would be there any way, a wall or no wall

    LOL, that video was exactly what I thought of when I saw this thread. AKS, illegal migrants literally jump the fence into the US as they are filming this interview to discuss the new border wall prototypes.

    The number being missed is the 0.3%. That is a very small percentage of illegality for any process.

    So on the average, out of every 1000 immigrants you meet, three are illegal. OMG we are being overrun!!!

    We have about 12 million illegal aliens here. That we have that many more legal ones doesn't mean we aren't being overrun by illegal aliens; it means we're REALLY being overrun by legal immigrants and need to sharply reduce numbers.

    Btw we don't know many illegal aliens there are here so numbers are guesstimates. I've seen some estimates of 20 million illegal aliens.
