GOP blocks House Democrats' attempt to pass $2,000 stimulus checks

So Trump wanted the millions for Pakistani gender nonsense.

 

Well! why don't they call it the Omnibus Bill instead of Covid-19 relief Bill and then have Democratic congress members screaming about how Horrible Donald Trump is for not wanting to sign it, because it's FULL! of ****. A Covid-19 Relief Bill should be a BILL! Specifically for Covid-19 relief all on it's own, not some disguised Omnibus Bill with a whole bunch of Crap attached to it for special interest groups.

 

I'm against direct stimulus checks...

But if you are going to send them out, $600 is a slap in the face.

So they made this into an omnibus bill and made the Covid Stimulus part of Ominus for the Pakistan allocation and the Israeli allocation is not part of stimulus. I and not defending Gender bending money for Pakistan but that is foreign aid.

The problem the Omnibus bills that glom all sorts of unrelated Schiest together.

Well! the Covid-19 relief Bill shouldn't be combined with the Omnibus Bill, but instead should be an emergency relief Bill target specifically for Covid-19 relief. It's devious to title something the Covid-19 relief Bill and then combine it with the Omnibus Bill stuffed with all the Pet Projects of corrupt Congress members that has NOTHING to do with Covid-19. All this Pork isn't stuff Donald Trump thought up and decided he wanted in there.

Agree that a COVID relief bill should be just only that but you are yelling and fighting a process and that process is Omnibus Bills like them or not.

Republicans had a reason for blocking this deal. The stimulus update people on YouTube explain it better than you do. I'm not saying I agree with them and yes some of them have said the foreign money must go.

Maybe you should stop reading biased news and try to understand why they blocked it. They had reasons for doing so.
