    “Candidates backed by President Trump were outperforming expectations in two closely watched congressional special elections on Tuesday night, as former Navy combat pilot Mike Garcia inched closer to retaking Democrat Katie Hill's California seat and Republican Tom Tiffany easily prevailed in Wisconsin.

    Garcia grabbed a substantial early lead Tuesday in the fight for the open U.S. House seat north of Los Angeles in the swing 25th District, giving California Republicans a chance to claim a Democratic-held congressional seat in the state for the first time since 1998.”

    A special election with great news for America in my opinion. I live in California in a District with a GOP Congress person one of 7 out of 53. Getting an 8th seat in this blue state is good. I’m happy with the Wisconsin result as well. Resisting their lock down might have boosted that outcome.

    So we hold one seat and get one back. There are 7 other possible GOP pickups in November all lost in Orange County in 2018.

    Fortunately she was forced to resign. The person running against Garcia to hold her seat made the big mistake of belittling his military service.

    I think the Democrats will hold their House majority with somewhere around 240 seats.

    The democrats haven’t given up yet & if things continue to look bad, they may bring in David Copperfield to work some magic.

    Pelosi says we must vote by mail in November.

    This election was vote by mail, but when they started to count votes and noticed the democrat losing, they decided to allow onsite voting in various democratic locations.

    There’s still ballot harvesting but they have a much bigger deficit to overcome than any of the 7 they stole in 2018. They need over 70% of the remaining votes to steal this one.

    I imagine that to be highly unlikely. I'd put money on a bare minimum of 220.
