The bolded: no. That is a blatant untruth. The context of the OP is MTG's use of a vile, profane and incendiary slur on another person, namely calling Ilhan Omar a Brothef*cker. Ilhan Omar is not the center of this thread, Marjorie Taylor Greene is. It could have been any other person that MTG would have slurred in this way and the thread would have EXACTLY The same meaning. And just like MTG, you are making accusations that are not founded in facts at all.

BTW, MTG is like AOC, the first letters of their respective names. Seriously, you are an adult, I am sure you can understand this without having to troll a thread for all it is worth.

I have hopes it will be approved by the Senate.

 

Of course it will be approved in the Senate, it's the right thing to do for Israel and has broad and very deep bipartisan support.

MAGA is not the GOP. The GOP has been hijacked by MAGA. Like their progressive counterparts on the left, they are the loudest and the most obnoxious and the most entitled, but they are not the entire party. They only make themselves seem that way by screaming at everyone else louder than everyone else.

 

I think you make a interesting case there, but on the other hand, as long as the MAGA crowd is the majority of the GOP, then for good or for bad, it is indeed the GOP.

So, yeah, MTG is definitely GOP. She was officially elected as a Republican in her district.

Trump was elected as a Republican too, and he's MAGA #1. Progressives are elected as Democrats, but they stand in contrast to their moderate peers. Tea Party Republicans were elected as Republicans and they stand in the same contrast to their moderate peers as the progressives do to theirs.

I mean, you're not wrong since the GOP is technically the Republican party, but political parties don't work like sports teams, they work like leagues within sports. Think American league versus National league. Made up of various teams that are different from each other, even though they are part of the same larger entity. Not an airtight comparison I know, but I think it illustrates my point well enough.
