#1: Gorillas are animals with arms. I am unsure if there are any other animals that have 'arms' to use for functions (such as for eating, combing, grooming, holding)

#2: Gorillas are not only 'instinctual' as other animals are believed to be. They do not live by the rule of survival.

#3: Gorillas have reasonings for why they do what they do. They have 'personal' reasonings.

#4: Gorillas can show affection and love to their offspring and/or they can choose to not show affection or love to their offspring.

And so when we look at Gorillas, we may get a glimpse into where we, as humans, might have gone astray..

When I look at them, the gorillas, I think to myself, it has to be about science.. because I had always thought that I, as a human, was unique and 1 of a kind. But these gorillas show that they also have physical bodies as I do.

And that might be a reason why the desire to see where humans arose from, evolution, began. To see why humans are NOT a one of a kind species and if not, then humans must be in the 'gorilla' family and not a 'human' family.
