Republicans will look back longingly for Jerry Brown once the new governor follows his campaign logo 'Courage for a Change'. Strengthening control of guns has begun. Voters passed Prop 63 [gun control measure] in 2016. Gavin Newsom intends to "aggressively" fund enforcement of the law.

"Gov. Gavin Newsom makes aggressive, early moves on his gun control agenda for California" https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-pol-ca-gavin-newsom-guns-20190125-story.html

"Now, in his first weeks in office, Newsom has already moved to significantly reduce the number of Californians with firearms."

I'm confused, why does he think reducing the number of legally owned firearms will have any effect whatsoever on the tens of millions of illegal black market guns already in CA?

Still, I like a bit of competitive Federalism. All the Eurojerkers (those who constantly felate Europe) can move to CA, and everyone with a business can move out of it.

Problem solved, everyone's happy. Their capitalism is exploitation anyway.

    Did you read the article?

"to seize guns from thousands more people who are ineligible to possess firearms because of criminal convictions or mental illness"

It's a sanctuary state. Criminals can do whatever they want to.

California ranks 32nd in overall safety and another reason why we want control over weapons in civilian hands.

If a Democrat tells you they will protect your rights to own a gun and you believe them, you are worse then they are.

I can't trust a list that doesn't have Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Il on the most dangerous list. You want control and you'll never get it. California didn't make the top 10 safest so what are you bragging about? You didn't even make the top 30.

I'm sure the Bloods, Crips, and Mexican Mafia are very concerned about these developments.

Any criminal should be very concerned since it would be a violation of probation/ parole. Having the police sniffing around helps keep gun trafficking down. Mentally ill folks can also get access like any other person but it must be an underground transaction.

Yeah now it'll be doubly illegal, instead of just already illegal for them to have guns.

Good news though, you can give someone AIDS on purpose.

You gonna tell me what gun laws Vermont and Utah have that make them two of the top four in safest states?

I agree with them removing guns in California because when it comes time to put that state down the less armed civilians they have the easier it will be.

Do you watch old "Hee Haw" episodes when Fox News is boring? Otherwise every network ridicules Republicans endlessly. But I don't mean to bum you out over the cruel world.

The libs loved Palin. What is not to love about someone who telegraphs "GOP are idiots for electing me" at every appearance.
