I'm looking forward to techno protection. BTW murder rates continue to lower in comparison to several decades ago.

You avoided the question. I'll ask again:
Given the abject failure of CA's current draconian gun laws, how can you make this claim this with anything other than a 0 level of certainly?

I thought you would understand that gun violence is terrible but murder rates continue to lower though not fast enough. The governor is better funding programs that confiscate all weapons from felons/ mentally ill. It's a tedious job checking on parolees and diagnosed mental patients.

I understand you do not have sufficient knowledge of the issue to answer the question I asked, and by extension, carry on a meaningful discussion of same.

I think we are talking past each other. Gun control laws are making California safer but we need more protection. Thus governor Newsom's action; the subject of the thread.

California’s Background Check Law Had No Impact on Gun Deaths, Johns Hopkins Study Finds
The findings—which run counter to the conventional wisdom that gun control saves lives—have received almost no media attention.

    December 05, 2018

A new academic study has found that, once again, gun laws are not having their desired effect.

A joint study conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of California at Davis Violence Prevention Research Program found that California’s much-touted mandated background checks had no impact on gun deaths, and researchers are puzzled as to why.

I can post just as many articles to the contrary:

"A Look at California Gun Laws, Among the Toughest in the Nation" https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/08/us/california-gun-laws.html
"California’s Gun Laws are Saving Lives" http://www.bradycampaign.org/california’s-gun-laws-are-saving-lives

The difference is that the articles presented on the part of yourself are nothing more than propaganda pieces, presented by those who have an incentive to support firearm-related restrictions.

Keep in mind that FEE and Daniel Mitchell are supported by the Koch brothers. That slants credibility unlike the Brady foundation.

The Brady Campaign possesses absolutely no credibility whatsoever.

You said CA was the 32s safest. 4 of the top 5 safes states have virtually no gun control.
    How can you be right?.

The Brady Foundation is more anti-gun as the NRA is pro-gun.
Tell us why you believe information fro the Brady foundation is unbiased.

And Trump's approval ratings continue to go up when they do.

That is because liberals dominate media which is something we need to put an end to.

Meanwhile other politicians are threatening to release the personally identifying information of anyone who shows up to protest their proposed firearm-related restrictions.

A "Biblical" perspective might indicate that this will never happen... Just not sure we should 'cast pearls before swine' Spooky... I dunno - I suppose I would follow down that path, but not going to 'bushwhack' it alone, lol :)

i'd argue that the state has to pay compensation for each firearm that they illegally confiscate, laws are not retroactive, those that have should be grandfathered in...

all anyone has to do is 'hide' them and tell the clown at the door that they were donated to ms13...
