He does not want to be a minority member in the coming Dem congress.

He does want a seat on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeal.

I think he would do a good job there.

I anticipate Sessions being removed and Gowdy replacing him. Sessions is now working for Mueller and Gowdy will fire him.

 

He wants AG of S. Carolina. But he will take a spot in the DOJ, like Deputy AG.

He needs to be sent in to clean up and clean out the FBI. He probably has the character and integrity to do that. One of a few, IMO in DC.

The dems have a long way to go to take back offices across this nation. Too bad enough people do not understand the dems belong in a banana republic. How much more much they prove this? Well, you do need an attention span to see it and apparently many dem voters are lacking.

Yes, a fair job in this political driven witch hunt. Which is what most of the jobs are that he is involved in. Began with Clinton when they went after him. Then it happened in the Bush admin, and all they could find was Scooter lying, which amounts to little more than entrapment. The only person they have nailed is manafort for criminal acts prior to the trump campaign. Criminal acts which are common with people who keep one foot in politics and do business world wide. OTOH, if manafort had been a big banker, he would have walked, since the obama admin let the bankers laundering drug cartel money, walk. Too big to jail it seems. The only people not too big to jail seem to be when it is politically driven.

 

Me too, for this would help get rid of the corruption and it would be harder to buy politicians with those limits. Congress would never set limits though, they only do that for the executive branch. Not themselves. Spending most of your life in congress allows these harmful centers of power to arise, and seldom are they in the interests of the People.

I know that makes sense to you, gc17, but why would they not? Do you have some reason to believe a Dem majority in the Senate would not approve him? If so, what are they?

 

We already have term-limits. They are called: ELECTIONS

Actually the information coming from Gowdy himself says he was gonna not run last time but got talked out of it. So he has been planning this for a few years. It seems he is tired of the hateful partisanship, the dishonesty, the unfairness he has seen and DC and is sickened by it. Which is why I say., it takes men of low character to remain in DC. Scumbags. No integrity. Dishonest, even more so than trump for they are dishonest on really important matters. Like you general democrat and republican. The lifers. The entitled. The ruling class.
