America is wonderful. Even a plague and a President like Trump cannot hurt us much for long

Unemployment had been on the same basic downward trend since 2010. At the start of COVID, it spiked far higher than it had even been during the recession. I'm glad it is starting to fall again, but it has a ways to go before we even get to recession levels.

Anyone that believes we only have an 11.1 unemployment rate is as looney as the White House occupant.

So you believe at the “experts” on C19 but not on this? Odd as we track one of these all the times and it’s just basic math as opposed to a ever changing dynamic virus...

The left just can’t get stand to see good economic news so we get all the stupid negative comments about something as awesome for all of us as Americans going back to work at a higher rate than expected.

    Sick twisted ideology you have....

Someone should explain - in detail - why Dickless Donnie deserves any credit for this.

I'm well to the right of Trump on economics. Frankly, I'm very likely to the right of you as well. The "Trump economic miracle" is pure nonsense.

I posted about the American economy, nothing about Trump.. It's great news for America and anybody who says anything must just be a Trump Rage obsessed sicko.

Good news? Yes. Great news? Not really. Not unless you think that recession-level numbers and higher are "Great." You tried making this about the left, so don't go complaining about partisan politics.

Many on the Left have noticed that too - the still thinking Left.

"For some strange reason, many people (particularly on the left) appear to want the Swedish model to fail, and the bizarrely-negative media coverage they receive should simply be ignored. In normal times, Sweden is held up as a model country on the left for virtually everything from health care to prisons to immigration policies. Suddenly, they are now viewed as the pariah of the world, being run by semi-fascistic leaders who should be (as one Twitter user noted) “carted off to the Hague” – presumably for crimes against humanity. This level of irrational ire could only be caused by those who are frustrated that the Swedes have not panicked and have instead taken a smart, long-term, balanced, middle-ground approach and have thus succeeded by the numbers while respecting their citizens’ basic liberties and livelihoods, which are also essential to living a decent life. And I really think we should be doing the same."

Yes great news, much better than expected ...again...that's not just good....that is great...it's called a trend :)

You just can't get past your Trump Rage to see the bigger picture.

It shouldn't be surprising. The economy didn't tank because of any recession related issues. It was the lockdown that caused it. It was basically a purposeful tanking of the economy.

Eh . . . no. That's not a trend. I study trends as part of my daily work. "Big picture" is exactly what you are asking me to ignore. I refuse to do so.

So do I, for over 20 years. It is a trend.

2nd month in a row the expectation were handily beaten. :)

Like I said Trump Rage blinds you. Anything that is good for America has to be down played least Trump get a bit of credit. Go ahead and do it, changes nothing in the end and just makes you look foolish to anyone without the TR obsession.

If you had studied unemployment over 20 years, then you wouldn't be crediting Trump. You are the one blinded by Trump, obviously. Go ahead and ignore the majority of available information if that is what it takes for the whole hero worship motivation. The only TR obsession is on the side that tries to credit Trump for the economy. They, without fail, either can't read a graph or refuse to consult one, as I've demonstrated multiple times no on the forums.

Where did I credit Trump? Go back...look...I did not. You saw that I was saying this was a good thing for America and your Trump Rage implanted in your mind I was crediting Trump somehow. That is the Trump Rage effect. Your are obsessed and see his name everywhere, even when it is not there as in this case.

So yeah although I have never said this on this forum, thanks for proving my point :)

The unemployment rate dropped again when many who know a hell of a lot more about it than you or I ever will said it would not.
