    Exactly.

And, that was NOT limited to the accepted articles.

    It represents her, nobody else.

    And, her stuff was retracted.

Are you saying that Cortez is a complete idiot and doesn't represent the democrat party? If so, then we AGREE!

In this case, that appears to me to be the case.

She is an incredibly young first timer. She has a lot of energy and is certainly inspirational.

She may go places, but she fumbled this one.

I'm happier with her than with a lot of others - such as bigots like Steve King.

Although, while you would rather live in a country with Cortez's politics for SOCIAL reasons, you would rather live in a country with King's politics for every other reason! I wonder which you'd pick!

Okay, then which would you rather? Cortez's politics or King's?

Weird question, but what the hay -

King deserves more of a censure than he got.

And, I'm disgusted by his YEARS of fighting against science and evidence based policy decisions.

That's FAR more desttructive to America than is having a young firebrand who needs to learn how to be effective - something that every congressman has to learn.

It helps Al Gore the inventor of the internet.
"Generation Investment Management LLP is a sustainable investment management firm, founded in 2004. It was co-founded by former US Vice President Al Gore and Goldman Sachs' Asset Management head David Blood."

You don't think for a minute Alexandria Occasional Cortex came up with this all by herself do you?

    FALSE.

Carbon tax doesn't help Gore in ANY way.

What it DOES do is create opportunity for new corporations and new technolgy.

Today, we already have more employment in clean energy than in coal.

By moving some of our income tax toward carbon tax we can stay revenue neutral while promoting economic growth.

Sure, when practical solutions do not work why not try functionally impossible ones.

BTW, which science is he fighting against? The popularized science or the real science that is inconvenient to the hysteria?

The real science is inconvenient to the deniers.

Then I take it you only pay attention to the hysteria instead of the actual science.

A new event here has just confirmed your observation.

Amazon was pretty close to committing to build it's second headquarters in Long Island City, New York- but catching the typical rich-hate slander from Cortez.
In a wise move, Jeff Bezos pulled the plug on the idea- and Cortez is thrilled that New York will not get those high paying salaries and huge tax base that an Amazon HQ would have brought with it. Killed off a golden goose even before it arrived.

There seems to be a hate in her for all things functional or beneficial, or profitable. At the same time, she wants the country to bankrupt itself chasing her Greenie nightmare. She hates those who make money; wants to take all their money, blow it on disastrous ideas that cause irreparable harm, and tell us we should feel good about that....
How on earth did such a person ever get supported by anybody- let alone enough people to win an election.

It makes me worry about the maturity of voters in her district, as well as that of leaders within her party. Incompetence seem to be spreading like disease with them.

That means the government would be giving money to people who aren't willing to work. You would prefer to
live in THAT America over an American that wouldn't be much different to the average Republican government? (Which would be a government that had King's politics.)

OH, please. You just got fooled by Ocasio-Cortes - again!!

And, you are dead wrong about King and the Republicans, too.

Republicans removed King from his committee assignments, not the Dems.

What do you mean I got "fooled?" Paying people who are unwilling to work was on her website! How did it get there if she doesn't have this belief? Was she being trolled by someone on her staff?

    How?

Yes, but how does that mean that they don't share most of his politics?

]"Pay people who don't want to work" is NOT part of the Green New Deal.

The Green New Deal is not hers to change.
Please don't botther disecting King's politics and then doing a comparitive analysiis with some sort of Republican average.

It's enough that Republicans booted him from his commiittee asignments.

I'm not talking about the Green New Deal. I'm talking about what she believes.

What do you mean its not hers? She is responsible for organising its production isn't she?

I don't necessarily accept what ANY congressman wants.

And, the legislature is a place where repreentativess come to compromise and deside on shared direction.

Read up on how our legislature works.
