I was minding my business a couple of weeks ago and ran into this:



Never heard of a Kimel Kamper but the odd shotgun (410 Bore) with original box was needing a new home. The pic is not of mine. This 410 bore of course is a curiosity purchase at best but every gun safe needs a fun gun.....well several to be honest.

I have a soft spot for .410. This will be with me when I am playing in the garden. I tried my AK's, SKS's, Saiga's in the garden with my 150 round drum magazines mounted on my tractor

It's hard to believe how brainwashed some of you people are.

 

It's political pandering, basically. The problem in my eyes is that the left don't understand guns, and seemingly have no problem obstructing gun owners with legislation that hasn't been empirically proven to be effective, and honestly isn't very thought out. On the other end of the spectrum: the right still cling to the idea that they can have completely deregulated and unrestricted gun ownership; that is off the table. Both sides need to come together and come to an amicable agreement; I've suggested multiple times that licensing is the best solution, something like a drivers license. Go into a shooting range every five years, prove you know how to handle a gun and maybe get some instructions about how to use it in a self-defence scenario (most of you probably already know, but a lot of prospective gun owners probably don't). The license should grant you basically unrestricted access to firearms, and you could sell it to your other licensed friends at yard sales and gun shows and whatnot.
