Now with Donald Trump the 2nd amendment is safe, at least for the next 2 years or so. There seems to be a direct correlation with gun sales and attempts at gun control. Or is this the lull before the storm. With Antifa and BLM seeking to drive an incident ( read this as a riot) we may be just a PD shooting away from their deepest desires. There also may an alternative explanation. People might be buying accessories, i.e. scopes, mags, holsters, suppressors and ammo instead. For instance before the election I bought 2 unfinished lowers and am just finishing out a mid-length build on one. Next up are the sights and suppressor. I think this is where current sales are going. The second is toward handguns. There are a lot of private sales going on with used guns as people are replacing their older weapons with smaller 9mm's, producing a glut in the market. Thirdly, there is the increasing popularity of 80% lower receivers that are not traceable. Your thoughts
Whether or not Donald Trump will be hostile to the second amendment remains to be seen. But at the moment he has committed no action that has him perceived as being such a threat. Instead of the federal government being regarded as the immediate enemy, the focus will now be on the criminals that remain free in society, no matter how many offenses they commit.

Qualified Law Enforcement, both active and retired, quietly achieved National borderless carry, only a matter of time before civilains get the same. Those same civilians will never accept any more assault weapons bans etc..... Old man scepticism is way too boring Friggin over 70 folks are always full of Doom & Gloom. Too many AR-15s out there now, not counting the unregistered ones. Gun control is dead. President Trump is a Businessman first, and Gun Business is Booming, so think a little and be the Genius of the Family, do you think he is not invested big time in firearms and ammo companies ?
