    Who cares about Canada? Not me I live in the United states of
    America. Canada can do what they want. They do not have a second admendment,as we do here in the USA.

    Its an expensive and pointless move. Just like everywhere else on earth, the vast bulk of violence committed with firearms in Canada is committed with handguns, which, btw, are already illegal there. This is just a lot of money spent on disarming the law-abiding.

    ...why do you think they'd wanna do that?

    How can a govrnment buy back guns it never owned?
    What happens when people aren't willing to sell?
