Except he did pull the trigger and the ONLY thing that saved his intended victims was that he was a bad shot.
And since they don't know if the kid died from a self inflicted wound or the security guard's fire, I'm still going to call this one a 50/50 situation.

Parkland failed because the government and police failed to act on multiple crimes he committed, as well as a request by, ironically, Scot Peterson to have him committed. Not to mention the FBI tips and police who refused to enter the building. Massive governmental failure. They told the children the police would protect them, and they did not.

The Birmingham shooting was successful because the metal detectors were not being used that day. Clearly if you feel you need metal detectors in a violent community you should probably use them. More government failure. I don't know much about the shooter, but I doubt we won't find even more failures there.

CMU was a guy who shot his parents. That could have happened anywhere. The media doesn't seem very interested in this one, do they?

Sandy Hook was yet another kid with mental problems that didn't get the help he needed, who killed his own parent to obtain weapons. Is there a law that fixes that? Maybe we could make murder of your parents double illegal?

When Trump makes his rallies gun-friendly and allows EVERYONE to carry, then I will believe his bullshit is sincere.
