Musk outsourced his findings about what led the tech giant to suppress the Hunter Biden story in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election to journalist Matt Taibbi, who published a lengthy thread about what had transpired behind the scenes at Twitter. Taibbi put a spotlight on the behind-the-scenes events that resulted in Twitter kiboshing the New York Post story that first revealed scandalous contents of Hunter Biden's laptop. The "Twitter Files," revealed that then-candidate Joe Biden’s team allegedly asked Twitter to remove unflattering links about his son, which here promptly "handled" by the social media platform.

Some mainstream journalists have continued to defend the initial handling of the story in 2020.

I think the one positive we can take away from the midterms is at least the control of the house is changing hands. I'm really interested to see what further prodding will turn up. The ironic portion for me is the actual collusion that took place, while certain democrats screamed "RUSSIAN INTERFERNECE" was from some members of the democratic party it's self and them controlling the information feed on social media. How? By collaborating with people in power at said social media locations. As I've said before, often the ones who scream "fascist" are the actual ones behaving in a fascist way.

We all knew about the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election. This is not something any of us are shocked by at this point, we've known it for years.

 

Apparently you would be in a small percentage of those that would have still voted for Biden if the story was not censored.

"Biden's team" were not part of the government during the time this was going on.
