Selective enforcement is always fair to criticize.

Sure, it's definitely fine to say that they should remove child porn.

That doesn't change the fact that they were acting appropriately when they removed the Hunter Biden porn.

    Both should be removed.

Your focus should really be on why didn't they remove the child porn, not that they removed the Hunter Biden porn.

And what about when they removed all discussion, even by DM, of his laptop leaking?

Twitter was applying their TOS. They would delete nude photos of you too.

Did they remove words talking about it, or photos or links to photos?

They removed the white house press secretary mentioning that his lap top had been published.
They removed the post for a ****ing TRUE NEWS ARTICLE WITHOUT NUDES.

Why are you playing dumb on this?

If someone stole your laptop and published information from it, they would remove that too.

Political opponents of Trump were asking Twitter to CENSOR. It might be nice if you even tried to get your facts straight. There were NO rules that the WA. Post violated. Yet their Hunter Biden Laptop story was blocked and they were temporarily locked out due to profound political censorship and first amendment suppression. Kelly McEnaney violated NO TOS rules but was locked from her account for retweeting the breaking WA. Post news account.

It applies to stolen information too.

If you left your laptop at a repair shop, and the owner gave it to someone else, twitter would remove the stolen information.

Except 1) it wasn't stolen, 2) the article nor the press secretary's post, nor the DMs containing links to either of those things which were also auto deleted, contained stolen information. They simply discussed the fact that such information existed.

    That's an excellent question.
I can no longer take some posters here seriously. They must be purposely obfuscating.

Its not stolen when you abandon it there for years. You're accusing someone of a crime, theft, that's defamation and consequently not legally speaking what occurred.

If you disagree: You've made the claim you back it up. Show it was theft.

Yes it's stolen. If you leave your laptop with a repairman, and they give it to someone else, it's stolen.

The data on the laptop isn't just free to disperse. The data was stolen.

That's not the reason Twitter gave for removing the information, and I think you already know this.

It is the reason it violated their TOS.

Once the information was reported, Twitter had no choice but to remove it.

That's not backing up a claim. You wouldn't be violating the rules would you?

The data wasn't dispersed in the article, the post, or the auto deleted DMs with those links.
The existence of the data was dispersed, without dispersing the data itself.

    This is false.

The laptop was never “stolen.” It was abandoned, and the store took legal possession of it, in accordance with documents that Hunter Biden signed himself when dropping off the laptop for repairs. He never reported it stolen or missing.

No, it is not. You're manufacturing and playing loose with the facts.

So you think that if you left your laptop at a repair store, that it would be legal for them to post videos that you had on there?

    I'm not.

People seem to be under the impression that Hunter Biden has less privacy rights than the rest of us.

If you left a computer at a repair shop, and the owner posted videos or photos of you that they found on it after deciding it was abandoned, that it would be ok?

Yes. Once you exceed the time period to pick up your laptop, the laptop and all the content becomes the property of the store. Further, the store owner saw the porn, the drugs, the hookers, the guns and what appeared to be underaged girls and a lot of email communications and called The FBI to turn it over to them.

But make no mistake about it, the store owner took possession of said laptop(s), legally and Hunter signed the forms allowing him to take them.
