Are you getting plenty of protein in your diet?

I had the same problem. For me, and most people I guess it is largely genetic.
My dad had firm hairs in his 20s but he began to bald in his 40s.

The rest is all up to us to have the lifestyle to control it. The main thing is to keep the stress level low. I had more hair falling when I have projects deadlines looming. Try to comb it softly often to stimulate blood flows everyday. It helps.

Well, I don't know whether you are male or female, nor whether you have a genetic predisposition towards baldness (baldness running in the family). It could also be that the baldness is related to illness or to external factors (stress, nutrition).

So what I would recommend, would be:
    • Reduce stress, eat healthy
    • Stop using shampoos and conditioners, the chemicals in the products can do more wrong than right. Should you stop using shampoo altogether, your hair will turn greasier for a few weeks, but afterwards a new balance will be created and the greasiness decreases. (Wash with water, comb normally.)
    • Consult your GP for further advice.

    Good luck.

How old are you? Have you had your thyroid checked? Do you take multivitamins?
