Excellent ! Now we can concentrate upon getting the illegal NeoZionists out of the state of Palestine according to the diktats of international law - and civilized behavior.

    Never going to happen.

The best place for the Palestinians is down in Hebron or up in Nazareth.

    And not both.

How is this new? If they do not recognize Israel's right to exist, there is no deal. And then you want Israel to return land that they won in a war they didn't start? You're very funny...

Palestine recognized Israel's right to exist 20 years ago.

Now YOU tell ME when Israel recognized Palestine's right to exist.
    ( but don't make me laugh )

I clicked on the link and added the part you omitted.

"Khaled Meshaal presents new document in which Hamas accepts 1967 borders without recognising state of Israel."

They paid the price for attempting genocide. "We lost some ground trying to kill all of you, but will now accept it back!" No chance.

Hamas is under no obligation to recognize Israel. Many countries do not recognize Israel- and for good reason. Palestine does.

Further- territory cannot be gained by force. Israel must withdrawn from Palestine. You can claim the opposite as loudly as you like- but you'll be wrong and you'll be supporting criminal acts.

Besides- when did Israel recognize Palestine ?

We shall not waive an inch of the Palestinian home soil, no matter what the recent pressures are and no matter how long the occuptaion," Meshaal told reporters as he revealed the document to the public after two years of work.

"Hamas rejects any idea except liberating the home soil entirely and completely, although it does not necessarily mean we recognise the Zionist entity or give up any of our Palestinian rights."

That's in agreement with international law.

    And why should they ?

    Craptacular!

It's not. In fact, this has become part of Hamas' Jihad Routine. Khaleed does the Wipe Israel Off The Map Two-Step, Islamofascist cheerleaders pick up the pom-poms and after the bleating and babbling dies down everyone else returns to their routine and absolutely nothing has changed.

"Palestine" didn't exist 20 years ago.

How many times has Hamas refused to recognize Israel?

Islamofascist hypocrites want what they won't give - boo-hoo...

Do NOT start a War of Annihilation if one is not ready to lose territory.

1967 is so, pre Last War of Annihilation.

International Law recognizes the State of Israel within the 1967 borders.

This means that Hamas' goal of "liberating all Palestine" is an illegal goal and would step on the rights of another state.

    Seriously?

did you even read what is in this Hamas Document? these guys inhabit fantasy island. Exactly how stupid does Hamas think the Israelis and the rest of the world are?

Same ol' doublespeak the Palestinian wiley coyote used to spout.

I guess its "excellent news" for you because you will be able to whine about how Hamas has given up its vision of liberation of all of historic palestine because it said in a letter it would recognize a palestinian state within the 67 borders wtih jerusalem as it;s capital and all the refugees able to return to their homeland but absolutely no recognition of the state of Israel.

Well well, FOUR non-starters. Great PR move, but it just goes to show how weaselly Hamas is, since to non-muslim world, it seems they might be becoming more reasonable (its not a religious fight - yuck yuck yuck) while definitively telling their followers that "hey guys we still want to liberate ALL of our homeland".

I for one ain't falling for that stupid schtick.

Only if such a state was legitimate . Many countries do not recognize Israel as a legitimate state.
That's an argument for later on. For the time-being Hamas has joined with the overwhelming majority of UN-member states in accepting the Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders. That's the news here, not the scurrilous objections and deceit of illegal occupiers.

    An overdue clarification- very welcome.

NeoZionists and their boot-lickers will, naturally, overlook it, ' antiSemitism ' being their life-blood.

Palestine has existed for thousands of years, dating back well before the Romans exiled the Jews, and it's bigger than you might think.

Map of Palestine under the British rule

In recent history the area called Palestine includes the territories of present day Israel and Jordan (see map above. For earlier history of the term see article). From 1517 to 1917 most of this area remained under the rule of the Ottoman Empire.
Is Jordan Palestine? Here are two Jordanian State Stamps. On the left, one from 1949 with a picture of King Abdullah of the kingdom of Jordan and bears the label of Palestine in English and Arabic. On the right, a 1964 stamp bearing the likeness of King Hussein and pictures Mandated Palestine as an undivided territory including both present day Israel and Jordan.

Philistines were not Jewish or Muslim, they were the original Semites around the Mediterranean. Sovereign governments was a European invention. The history of sovereignty can be understood through two broad movements, manifested in both practical institutions and political thought. The first is the development of a system of sovereign states, culminating at the Peace of Westphalia in 1648. Contemporaneously, sovereignty became prominent in political thought through the writings of Machiavelli, Luther, Bodin, and Hobbes.

The justification for the argument of Israel's legitimacy coincide with the argument for legitimacy that recognizes US authority claiming land from the native Americans that had dwelled in the territory for thousands of years until some Europeans came along and took the land by force. Genocide followed by the stamp of approval by posting a flag in the soil was/is and has been the recognized tactic ever since. But it's always been an invention of Europeans. Europeans don't own the Earth, they just employ evil tactics to pretend they do. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Stop being so anti-Semetic and recognize the Semites right to exist by telling the Europeans to go back home. Even Britain recognized Israel as a terrorist State when it claimed its independence (and that's saying a lot).

There is a reason for why many Palestinians won't recognize the right of Israel to exist by the way: It is unclear what this is meant by Israel (aka the borders). Israel still claims that the West Bank and the Golan Heights should be part of the Israeli State. What would it mean to recognize Israel's right to exist when you don't even know what territory we're talking about here.

The Palestinians will definitely be getting their state at some point. Not so sure the fascist basket case next door will survive when it's filled to overflow with feral crap like this:
