It appears that Hamas claims a captured dolphin is actually an Israeli spy. I still think this originated out of the Onion, but what the heck:

I hope no-one tells Hamas that most of the cats in their territory are also Israeli spies! In any event, congratz to Hamas for keeping the area safe from Israeli-Dolphin Aggression!

They said the Dolphins spied on their elite marine forces drilling at sea, true we have drones for that kind of job but Dolphines are just too cute to ignore + they very corrupt and will sell their ppl for a bucket of fish.

Let's hope they wont start checking the rats...

Whether this is true or not I do not know as I have not even looked into it .....however Dolphins have been used in war situations before. They are very intelligent and easily trained if it would appear somewhat gullible!

I post a picture of a US dolphin with a camera in action.
    It's a US spy.

You can make fun of it all you want and be ignorant.
Everybody else knows the sh*t is real.

Hamas said the Dolphin was "Stripped of it's will" - Does Hamas think it was brainwashed by the Israelis? What does a Dolphin brainwashing technique entail?

How would Hamas even know? Perhaps they have double-agents in Sharkville?

How do you waterboard a dolphin?

My husband thought a bit similarly. He thought it was morally wrong to use a peaceful animal like a dolphin who worked to be our friend for war activities.

Dolphin brainwashing involves making friends with it and then teaching it to do whatever you want. That is why I suggested they were a bit gullible. They don't seem to guess we may be up to no good because we are nice to them ;)

As for I know the Palestinian Authority is training a land force [Italian Carabinieri are training Palestinians, so I would say I can tell this].

In this thread "Hamas’ naval forces" has mentioned.

This is what interested me the most [I don't care a nut about dolphins ... Hamas doesn't know that actually Mossad uses squids ... but don't tell this to Hamas!].

It seems that Hamas had reorganized its Navy ranks [http://www.telesurtv.net/english/ne...f-Its-Naval-Commando-Force-20150315-0001.html].

Honestly I'm not aware that Hamas Navy has improved from the level showed in this 2013 article:

Dolphins might eventually be proven to be more intelligent than us humans......

They were used to guard ships against mines, that's not a camera on his fin, you cant use animals for spying because you cant control its movment....

Dogs smell explosives, Dolphins were used by Americans also to find mines, you cant use Eagles to spy from the sky or any other animal for that job, and its very unlikly that the leading state in Drone development will use animals to spy instead of Drones.

    Its the usual Arab paranoia.

You most certainly can train a dolphin where to go. WTF is this? Them creatures are smart as f*ck. And you think they can not do a simple go there request? And it doesn't need a camera, it can carry sonar equipment to spy. You can even regard the idea of a dolphin checking for mines as a part of spying on the enemy.

Go there and what? stay? move with the target? swim at safe distance from target but keeping watch on them? that's insane, you send a tiny naval robot to these things not animals, it's not the 80's y'know....

I hope that Hamas did not decapitate the dolphin like their ISIS friends would. I fear for the dolphin's life.

The kind Dolphines can spy on evidently :)

I can picture the Generals sitting at the underground bunker watching the monitor, " Agent "Flipper" is on the move, and here we can see Abu Daud's gang splashing water on each other.....that's a clown fish........"Flipper" got a a thing for clown fish........' I suggest we just let it pass and he should be focused on target soon enough......, that's a jelly fish.......it will take a while....."

No you can not. You need to read up on Dolphins and animal behaviour. Please provide your information for ordering dolphins where to go.

Yes, all we need is to train a Dolphine, make sure the mamal recognizes its target (they are very smart so pointing should to the trick) and keep the sea clear on any distractions a Dolphine might have.
Sounds much better than simply trou a bot to sea with a baloon attached to it......
