Not Hamas- you know, the group Israel blamed and went after, hence starting the current Gaza conflict.

....so what does that have to do with Official Hamas actually trying to stop rocket attacks?

Like I said at the bottom of my post

The problem with your analogy is Israel wasn't wholesale slaughtering Palestinians until Palestinians thought it would be a dandy idea to murder three Israeli teens knowing full well what the outcome would be, which is lots of dead Palestinian children. Thus the poking of the Giant. The problem is, Palestinians will never stop until Israel is gone, therefore this is just going to keep happening until one side deems the carnage is no longer worth it.

LOL. Neither did the last 14 people who were in my kitchen. Is the truth hurting your fingertips or something?
Who were the people who killed the three teens that started this whole mess. Last time I will ask before leaving this thread.

There is no evidence that Hamas killed the teens.

Oh, so you just want to go back to when the Palestinians killed the teens! Would you allow me to go back further? If not, why not?

BTW, Israel is not bombing your kitchen, hence the lame and erroneous analogy.

Israel isn't bombing my kitchen because I am smart enough not to murder three of their citizens. Also, we were baby stepping backwards from the most recent carnage. Why go back any further if you cant even muster the post fortitude to cover the most recent event?
I say were because I am tired of waiting for the answer that you are refusing to type.

I wouldn't believe a word out of Hamas mouths if their tongues came notarized. War is business and those rockets don't come free. Hamas is buying them.

The best and most accurate depiction of what's going on are the reports from www.democracynow.org

Hamas will stop when, a) the blockade is lifted, allowing the Palestinians a relatively normal life and, b) when the Zionist squatters leave the Occupied Territories which, with the complicity of the Israeli government, they have been illegally occupying for decades.

We don't know, you don't know and neither do the Israelis; and all anyone has at this time is guesses and, in your case, assumption. I answered this pages ago and whoever else answers will give you the same response.

Really? The most highly regarded news organisation in the world, bar none (the BBC), has "no credibility"? I suspect you'd prefer the 'credibility' of Fox for your 'news'. Am I correct?

Any other nation and they'd be allowed to keep those lands. But because it's Israel it has to be illegal.

And nobody sees the double standard here because it's all about da jooooos.

While I can count the number of posts from snakestretcher I agree with on one hand, he is quite correct here. I have never seen the BBC news division make a major mistake with their reporting. In fact, there is a large amount of "not politically correct" stories here in the states that our media won't report on that you only hear about if you include the BBC as part of your news gathering sources.

That said, Fox is also a fairly accurate source of news on the political home front but I do agree that they tend to have a pro-Israeli world view.

Part of the problem is that too many Islamic nations/organizations have vowed to DESTROY Israel and I have yet to hear any legitimate Muslim leaders publically condemn this goal or other terrorist actions. So...in short...one hesitates to trust anyone or anything Islam related.

Let us imagine for a moment that Hamas stopped the launching of rockets into Israel and in return, Israel lifted the Gaza blockade entirely.

How long before more and deadlier weapons made their way into Gaza and then deployed upon the Israeli people? Does anyone really believe this would not happen? To go further, let us imagine that every settler who moved into the West Bank were to leave (and I agree that their presence there is illegal). Would that bring an end to Hamas attacking Israel...a country they have sworn to destroy?

This notion that if Israel lifted the blockade and Israeli settlers left the West Bank that all attacks from Hamas would cease is a fantasy.

Israel cannot afford to trust Hamas or ANY Muslim nation/organization for that matter.

What is worse is that the United States has put Israel in a position of having no choice but to attack Iran, who will almost certainly back up their stated goal of wiping Israel off the map as soon as they feel they can.
