    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Safe travels, and in some cases, safe travels to the hospital because Uncle Frank doesn't know how to properly fry a turkey.

I always find it odd that we continue to celebrate Thanksgiving the way it was taught to us. As the record goes, the Native Americans, specifically Squanto, taught the newly arrived Puritans from England how to live off the land. Grow crops, fish, hunt etc and preserve. Yet, in less than 200 years from that first Thanksgiving day about 90-95% of the entire Native American population was annihilated.

Mostly because it was happening during the civil war. Just be thankful for all the little things in life, because it might be gone in a flash.

I'm most thankful that President Obama was re-elected. America wouldn't have survived a Romney presidency.
