Agree, i'm quite puzzled to be honest what the thought process is with some posters, its like they hate women or perhaps their ex wife was a monster and they had an ugly divorce.

Granted, (don't flame me please) I've had my own doubts and criticism of "some" of the complaints in this case, the Cosby case and some others that were obviously not quite as drastic as those two examples. Primarily my issues is that if someone was violated on some level then returned over and over because that "violation" was apparently not so terrible enough that they wouldn't go back for more because they wanted something in return, once they return a 2nd, 3rd time, then IMO it can become more of a consensual/something in return type situation and the motivation then and now should be questioned seriously, but those are NOT every complaint, just a couple.

With that said, once you go past 1 isolated person/incident and get into a dozen(s) or more then my opinion goes back to the fact that this man is a pig and an embarrassment, and should be punished accordingly. I also trust that the jury had access to ALL the information, not just the headlines or cherry picked examples that make the victims look bad. I hope that makes sense.

Guilty by accusation - is very bad legal standard.
It is very naive to think that this standard will by applied only in rape cases.
That is my thought process.
No matter how guy is bad, if you allow the system to prosecute people solely on emotions, in near future you might be the next victim.

As for the subject of this thread -- yes, Weinstein is likely guilty. Yes, based on the precedent many innocent men who can not afford good lawyers will be convicted.

You do realize others don't believe "rape" is just a part of life as you apparently do. It does change lives forever. Though some of what the animal did was consensual, it took on an entitlement attitude which became rape.
