    Trump IS hate.

You have to be blind to not see this.

This isn't about politics. This is about knowing the difference between good and evil. Trumpers no longer know the difference.

Just left another thread talking about what George Bush has to say...

    Why would ANYONE care?

Also the amount of people who are 'emboldened', or not, as the case may be, purely based on who happens to head the government, are totally irrational. And equally anyone who says something like 'there's been a spike in hate crimes since Trump and therefore... all Trump's fault'

It's just not very scientific. Not everything that happens in society is due to the president. Maybe racial tensions are escalating because the media is constantly race baiting... as with all things there will most likely be a whole host of reason each accounting for small percentages of any sociological change.

BTW I don't really care about Trump -- I'm not sycophantic about leaders, I don't understand this obsession with personality cults except in the context of a heavily propagandised population.

And yet, it was the left who attacked trump supporters first. Hmmm, seems ironic.

Its funny how Bush was silent the last 8 years during Obama, but starts talking now when his brother and other establishment politicians were beaten by fair elections. Do you think this screams "deep state" collusion?

I am still waiting for a quote that Trump said which is "hate filled". We can see actions of hate from the left as they hold up "love trumps hate" signs, but not even a quote from Trump.

My theory is that life is simply easier for people if they just believe what their chosen authorities tell them to believe.

Hate is NOT back. Speech is being defined as hate by certain interests.

OP...it is nature based self-defense. The blacks, antifascists, libs, homosexuals, gun haters have all declared war on the conservative...so it is only natural to fight back.

    It never went away, either.

Who can have missed the recent decades of hate directed toward all things conservative?

"Hate" in America has been caused by one general fact - technology/social media/internet.

The anonymity offered by technology has removed social constraints and provided a method for people to hide behind, while saying outrageous things they couldn't get away with face to face.

The problem is, people are applying rules of social interaction that apply to face to face conversation to what is posted, and or read on a computer. They are different, and shouldn't be compared.

So true, I also believe it was a major factor in Trump's election. A fish rots from the head.

Conservatives like to deny racism still exists or had a lasting effect historically to this day. In their world, hundreds of years of slavery, decades of segregation and discrimination in the work place, real-estate covenants that kept blacks from buying property in good neighborhoods where their investment would increase that they could pass on. No, all that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the current gap between black and white statistics. For them it's all due to their laziness and hatred of whites.

I don't know any blacks even who blame whites for all their problems, but it seems they think they all do. It's the reason why we see so many conservatives here and on other forums try to play up black racism as if impacts their lives so negatively. In reality blacks on the whole are not in a position to effect whites like they fantasize.

"...It is true—black people and minorities can be racist. However, they cannot carry out acts of racism because they do not have the opportunities or resources to practice racism in the manner white Americans have in the past and present..."

Racism and hatred has been alive and well and residing in a significant portion of white and black Americans throughout my life.At notime have Iever seen it seriously decline or disappear.Obviously the advent of computer forums and blogs has only stoked it.

It's never occurred to these so-called antiracists that accusing only white people of racism is a form of racist bigoted hate and white people - especially if they're Christian - are the single largest group in the West today that has hate lobbed at them on a daily basis. The radical left have turned white people into planetary scapegoats.

A significant portion of whites? We're allowing our countries to be taken over by racial aliens with nary a complaint.

It's not just 'conservative', it's pretty much anything not completely and without question liberal.

Non-liberals are just mindless puppets according to some. The irony in that is overwhelming.

Bush, as he always has, talks a lot but says very little. Sorry, but people are different. People create cultures and so cultures are different too. Homogeneity, whether it be with language, culture, or race, has been INTEGRAL in the building of any great civilization in history. Those who deny this extremely fact are going to attempt to "progress" a civilization which will have no foundation.

Racism in any case is such a stupid and overused word. I have no idea what the actual definition is at this point and so I refuse to even use it or participate in conversations where it is used abundantly.
