Why? I thought you guys were pro states setting their own COVID rules?? If you cheer states banning mask mandates or vaccine passports, then you should try and remain consistent when a state does something that potentially points to MORE safety, not less....

Makes much more sense to do this on remote islands, where access can be much better controlled...

Best of luck Hawaii.... Making Paradise Safer since 2022....

Approximately 80 cents of every dollar produced from Hawaii is generated from their tourism industry. Which they just slashed in 1/3 - 1/2.

Good luck Hawaii given that your next highest income generating industries are manufacturing and fishing.

No bet... the unvaccinated and the partially vaccinated can still get in, after full quarantine's first..

This just gives patriots the benefits of avoiding any quarantine... to the victors go the beaches...

It's kinda like the program that allows you to pay to skip the lines at Disney, only this one is FREE!!!

Come now, everyone knows that the virus stops with the vaccinated. This little fella ensured us that it's impossible to transmit if your vaccinated.

Hawaii is just demonstrating that they have no idea what science is. The fact that boosters haven't show any significant barrier to Omicron just highlights how rigidly autocratic democrats have become. I assume their entire population is fully boosted then, right?? Oh wait, no, they aren't, not even close.

    Really? Got proof?
I did wonder how long it would take for the right to restart the campaign against Maddox now she has exposed the GOP fake electors fraud

Nah couldn’t do that. It’s too soon. They won’t start feeling the pinch for at least two years.

Ah, when everyone was shocked of all the breakthrough cases were taking place. Got it.

However, let me get this clear?! Are you saying that the vaccine doesn't work against this variant?

And just like that, rightists no longer support States rights.

    LOL, go figure.

I actually say good for them. It might hurt their tourism and it might not. I disagree with the policy, but it's theirs to embrace. It'd be nice if the left would also honored states rights, like states voting laws.

States can make their own rules, that doesn’t mean we have to agree with them.

Ha. False! And booster also significantly reduces severity of disease as well.

Pants down at ankles today. Pays to do your research.

Let's take things to the extreme...if a state goes too far and actually does suppress voting for some citizens, what would be the recourse if the Federal govt can't intervene?

And can you please explain the logical reasons for the following to be made law?
reducing the number of ballot boxes
shrinking the window for early voting
make it illegal for outside groups to give water or food to voters stuck in long lines
